I see Stretch has had 11 disposals ... how has he been playing

thanks

He's been doing stretch things. Solid, playing as a link man in our defence to attack transitions. Definitely not a shoe-in for selection, but in the mix.

How good was Hibberd there on Waite?  Terrific stuff.

I've also been impressed with how quiet we've kept their tall forwards today as well.  They have barely gotten a look in.

Killing them. I hope this is an indication of how good we will be in 2018. Already set a date to go to the North game

Absolutely smashed them that term.  Granted, we had a pretty good breeze behind us, but it was the clinical way we put them to the sword in that term that really impressed me.

Interested to see how we play out the game, but they've shown us enough to suggest we have the capability to improve on last year's output.

Love it when we double their score. I think maybe now the game safe in our keeping, bring on some of the new kids and maybe some experimentation in position changes to see how they’ll work.

Is anyone else watching this on Foxtel and if so, are you getting a broken feed? I’m guessing it’s a problem at their end because the commentary’s not affected.

Fantastic spread of goalkickers. We've had 10 all up for our 15 goals.

Harmes is playing the wing much better. Stretch just doesn't take the game on enough. He has also kicked 2 behinds from gettable set shots.

Fritsch vs the Cats, it will happen.

I want it to happen too, but can we fit him in?  Garlett is an automatic inclusion down there, while Melksham and Bugg have shown enough to suggest they might be ahead of him.  Same goes for Hannan.

It will be tough to select a side in Round 1, but what a good thing that is!

Think there is a whole lot of really valuable team stuff going on.  Hannan blocking for Fritsch, running in numbers, getting to the right places.  This pleases me more than individual efforts.  Now to hold them against the wind by controlling the play.

Fritsch and Hannan are very dynamic players who are hard to match up on. I am loving the look of a forward line

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
