Big Watts fan, but he needs time at Casey.

Not 100% sure if that's the whole problem. Our goal kickers have been down the last 5 weeks. Forward structure and forward entries have been woeful.

Troy Chaplin needs to go. Forward structure was better under his predecessor.

I agree about Chaplin. [censored] player, [censored] coach. Beggars belief as to why we got him onboard

It's worth pointing out who is standing up in such a disgusting effort with so much on the line.

Jetta is the first to come to mind who can hold his head up.

Went to the pub to watch the game. Have now left the pub as that was basically the most pathetic quarter - where is our intensity and ferocity? We should have been bashing up on this mob. But instead they're just running rings around us and we look very very ordinary.

Gee what if this rent a team had their other 3 gun forwards in?

I said last week after Norf loss that we wouldnt make finals but I didnt think we just wouldnt care today.

There is something wrong with this team.

Give Petracca a run in the magoos. Do him good.

It is time for a clean sweep. Trade watts for sure. No questions. Sick of having show pony pretenders around. We all defended him because of all the criticism but the truth is it was all warranted.

Focus now for next year. Book your hollies boys we ain't there in Sep.

 I'm broken.

I've hung in there all these years and continually paid memberships, travelled to games, even when I need to use annual leave the next day.

But now I just cant do this anymore. The anger is getting worse watching this game style and the constant choking and lack of leaders. It's ruining my weekends.

It's been a blast, but I'm done.

Last week woke me up a bit. I got so angry, and I hated how I felt and behaved. What's the point, really? It's an emotional investment that is far too costly. It ruined my weekend. Where does it all lead to? What's the end goal? Wins make for a great feeling but I can cling on for so long. I'm not attending the final 3 games. If they make finals, I'll jump back on.

We're failing to create forward pressure. Missing Hannan's ability to quickly close down space.

We are as weak as pizz. We are playing mentally weak football.

What a waste of a season.:(

Switching off now, as this club did our season 40 minutes ago.

I will set myself up for more heartbreak again in the near future as I've loved this club ever since the old man surprised me with my first jumper when round at grandads circa '79.

The wait continues.

Driven 7 hours. Put up with enough flatulance from bbo to cause the sea to rise 10m. About to snow at ground. The people seated in front of me don't know a single thing about the game. Only portable toilets and frozen pies.

And this is what the team puts on!

Thats a bloody good point.

Arousal levels high after a disappointing loss the week prior?

I'm not surprised.

And I won't be if we win.

The real challenge will always be backing it up. Against St Kilda. Then Brisbane. Then Collingwood.

This post isnt looking quite as profound now is it Steve? Even with the edit lol

:P

GWS are scary good. Imagine when they get their forward line back. They should be odds on favorite to win the premiership.

We are a long way off from where they are. Will make me feel sick when they hold the cup up.

They've been average at best for the last 2 months, we've made them look good today

Can you get BBO to point his arse in the other direction this qtr??

Mentally Weak and outcoached, too soft for finals, Viney half fit, Gawn colourblind, no run no spread.

Max Gawn Neville Jetta Bernie Vince Jordan Lewis Corey Maynard Michael Hibberd Christian Salem Clayton Oliver all having a go. Rest of the team need    to lift their performance.

Casey failing to use gale force northerly. Looks like the whole club can't play on a windy day.

Gawn one of the only few trying.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
