Rance just gave away a 50 for smacking a bloke in the head after he'd already marked it. He might be the biggest dog in the AFL. Such a scumbag!

He just poked a guy in the eye as well. He's one of the dirtiest players of the modern era but no one ever says a bad word about him. Very frustrating!

Doggies are all over them now and probably will win. Might finally get a tip right for the weekend!

Not only that, the bloke is seriously in love with himself. Narcissist.

Not nearly as much as Brooocce is.

You must have been a defender and you may be right about 12 wins for the eight. This year is tight.

That last decision was a total joke. The player touched the ball as he was tackled. It was never in control

12 wins could well be Gold this year

Richmond would have lost three straight if we weren't two men down against them.

They are rubbish and wont play finals.

We still should have beaten them. We certainly outplayed them.

Deliberate out of bounds is an absolute joke

Agree on that last one. It was a fumble. At first I thought he threw it out but why would he deliberately throw it out when his team needs a goal. Makes the loss more funnier. The tigs have dropped down to 6th now. WC have found themselves in the top 4. God knows how.

But I think the talking point is Geelong and there loss to Gold Coast. That was a very good win by them. 25 points. Wow.

This is why tomorrows game is so important. We keep in touch with those teams.

I think Goodwin will have the side ready

My compliments to Port, quietly going about collecting a new improved thugs backline with their tilt towards this year's Flag

I said that last night. I think they will be one of the teams to be competing for eight spot. Geelong have been exposed as well but will make the eight. The current 6 teams outside the 8 will all be in or  within striking distance at round 20.

How does a team get paid deliberate against them when they have 40 secs to go, its in their forward line and theyre down by 4 pts?

Because he deliberately put the ball out to force a reset in the forward line.

Looked pretty clear on first viewing to me.

Possibly, but I thought it was a fumble..

Was definitely deliberate, not even debatable.

Can imagine the Tiger fans melting down over it though. Warms my heart.

I had a good laugh hearing Hardwick in his press conference ticking off other 'top 8' teams they've defeated as proof they aren't pretenders, including us. What absolute [censored] -- he knows they only won against us because we were two down on rotations and got supremely lucky with injuries. They are finally getting found out and it's fantastic.

It's not as if they got absolutely pants tonight.

However, I do share your enthusiasm.

It was still immensely disrespectful towards us. We win that Anzac Eve match comfortably without those injuries in Q1, no question.

Dogs absolutely smashed them in general play for 3 quarters, just couldn't put it on the board.

And whoever thought up that ridiculous tactic of playing Lin Jong in the ruck should be put in stocks outside Footscray Market and pelted with rotten fruit and veggies the whole week.

Richmond play a bludger's game - super-flood their defence, then attack via breakaways. Their fans call it "rope-a-dope" because it relies heavily on the other side playing stupid and not thinking it through. It's the way you play when you got nothin'. Once they get worked out, like Port did in 2014 (?), they'll reach their true level.

As a complete side note after reading the Carlton/Collingwood match report, I was pondering the etymology of the nickname 'Blue Baggers'.

A google search came up with:

noun

  • a person who is so ugly that one would have to put a bag over their head (so as to hide their face) before considering having intercourse with them. See also double-bagger.
That girl I met at the club was a total bagger.

Can anyone shed further light on this important matter?

Cats and Tigers both lost two straight.

We are coming for a spot in the eight, nobody is safe.

It was only a matter of time. Both teams are pretenders. Be nice if Adelaide lose two straight too. :P

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast

Many warned that this was a danger game and the Demons were totally outclassed all game by a young Eagles team at Optus Stadium in Perth as they were defeated by 35 points.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
