Why would you say Tyson and Kent "are locks"? That's a midfielder and forward to replace two defenders. Given that, I would have thought Tyson and Harmes would have the front running (assuming no other late changes). Or perhaps Spencer plays instead of Harmes if Watts goes to the backline, although I can only see this happening if there is some doubt about Gawn's fitness.

Our depth of small forwards is finally very healthy compared to a few years ago when we had virtually SFA.

Kennedy is hard and offers some good goal sense, he can also rove quite well and get those goals out of seemingly nothing.

He has stiff competition for the role he has been groomed for but he's far from a 'bog ordinary' player.

I'm intrigued by the absence of Bugg,  Had a much better JLT than Harmes imo, and was game-day emergency last week.

IMO, Bugg's JLT series was at his normal level, which is that of an average footballer. Harmes had a quiet JLT, but his ceiling is higher than Bugg's.

Steve he  is an ordinary player who is too short.

At AFL level you have to be very good if you are small.

It's OK to have an opinion on footy and communicate it Stalinyrconhome.  

It's even the reason some of the filthy demonlanders come here.

I have a yearly subscription, but believe you can do by shorter periods. They also have an App. Works well for the most part.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
