I've assumed he got too busy, probably with the coaching caper, or work.

It has happened to me at times, but I've found ways to sandwich in time for this place again, against my better judgment.

Anyone know who he actually played/coached for? As 'rpfc', I always suspected it was Roxburgh Park.

I'm the opposite these days. A bad loss and I'm the [censored] outta here.

I took a 2 month break from here at half time of the Bulldogs game late last season when they murdered us. The frustration of us not turning up in the second half of the season 2 years in a row  got to me. This year I was rapt with our late season form until the last couple of rounds.

Same. It always seems to be a revelling in self pity environment on here after poor losses. Don't know if it's just because I've been here too long, but I can't tolerate it like I used to be able.

It's a shame,  this place has definitely lost some of its charm. It's not really the same anymore.

Maybe Nasher can email him or something,  just so we know he's ok?

Forums always go through peaks and troughs.

The end of the season certainly took the gloss off for some and it permeated through the site.  Now that there isn't anything to discuss in much detail, outside of some trade rumours, it's easy to feel as though the place has lost some 'charm'.  As far as supporter sites go though, we're pretty lucky.

You [censored] will really have something to whine about if good old Uncle Bitters decides to pack up and leave!

The grief would last a good few seconds .

Lordweaver was an absolute classic who posted brief but often hilarious things.

Your posts are more ecpansive, like your waistband and your capacity for drivel.

I'll give it a shot - depends on the email address he used to register with still being valid.

...my email bounced.  I pasted the address in to facebook and found an active account, so he's still kicking.  I'm sure he'll be back sometime.

Probably had a gutful of the place. We've all been there at some point.

Maybe we can lure him back by trading out another reg. Not naming names but it starts with s and rhymes with pooey.

At the top of this thread, I'm reading the concern for rpfc on RUOK day, and I'm thinking how compassionate demonlanders have become. By the time I got to the bottom, reality is well and truly restored.

Speaking of old favourites, any one know what happened to Yze Magic?

He's not Hogan's Hero's by any chance?

Was about to post the same thing. Miss the infamous legend.

    THE CAVALRY ARRIVES by Megg

The injury plague which has beset the Demons 2024 campaign is finally starting to dissipate and with consecutive wins over GWS Giants and a 2-point nail-biter in Adelade, a sense of optimism is rising.  Some commentators are now asking whether the Dees can make finals? A huge surprise with team selection this week when it was announced that champs Olivia Purcell, Paxy Paxman and Eden Zanker would play.   Hallelujah!  The cavalry has arrived. St Kilda missed the finals last season on pe

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.
