Leading them from a flag to oblivion .

They should both be sacked.

Maybe they should but if they continue to  bumble headlong blindly into the great void, will any here be disappointed? They deserve each other.

Health aside... I can't believe so many think he's been a valuable player for us. You've got to be kidding.

He has potential and could still be valuable depth if fit and firing. Look at the Kangas, Gold Coast and Dogs to see what happens when injuries plague a team. How long until the Dees have one of those seasons? We're not immune. I'd hope we're doing something right though in terms of our fitness training and it's not about luck.

I'm talking about what he's done since he got here. Not the future. But I don't believe he's the future anyway. I'd much prefer Salem/Mitch White/Wagner should injuries strike.

I I can count on one hand how many decent games he's played for us. Complete bust. Talks the talk but hasn't walked.

I thought we only signed H for 3 and next year was his last?

"Lumumba is contracted for another two years after signing a four year deal when crossing over to the Demons from Collingwood for the 2015 season."

Harry must retire, we can't have 2 more years of this. He was worth a punt but has ended up being a massive bust for us, he's not in our best 22. Melksham, Hunt and Vince and hopefully Hibberd will play off half back next year so their is really no room for Harry, time to cut our losses and hopefully that will give us more cap space to eventually fit in Hogan.

Does anybody know why he was put on the LTI list with only 2 games to go? Michie and Wagner have been upgraded due to Melksham and King does this mean White will take H's spot?

Purely from a playing perspective, the biggest myth about Limumba is that he is quick.

We got him for his dash, which he showed plenty of at CFC.

At MFC, mostly he's used that to dash into packs of oppo players.

Even his good games, he has looked decidedly shaky.

I'm sick of hearing about this bloke. He has been a complete waste of space (and time and money) since he walked through the door. I'd give him a pass mark in about two games; in the rest he has been a complete liability to the team.

I don't wish ill of anyone, even if I don't rate them as a player. If he is truly suffering serious health issues (mental or physical), that is terrible for him and I hope he can get over them. He should hang up the boots now and think about a future elsewhere.

If there is something else in the mix, and I increasingly believe there is, the sooner the club can sever ties with him the better. Hopefully it is done quietly during the final series and we can all move on.

Didn't rate him in his golden years at Collingwood, and rate him less in the red and blue.At the best he has been servicable, but mostly he is a laibility. Run, run, run, run into trouble and boot it to no one. If he never plays another game I won't even notice. Just another NQR from Colling@#$% we won't miss or even remember ten years fom now

A remarkably unnecessary and insensitive post. What drives you to feel the need to express this sort of opinion in these circumstances?

Aww geez, now I have to be sensitive? I'm glad you weren't next to me during the Essendon game when I yelled at him to get the @#$% off the ground, and never wear our jumper again.

I don't have to like every player, and I don't have to like every trade. I don't rate him, and hated the trade. But here we are. We have a precious VFL player on a long contract. Yay! I'm excited.

You don't have to be, you can do whatever you like. But both your initial post and response show your character!

Nobody's demanding that you like the bloke, or the trade, that's irrelevant.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
