  1. I like how @joeboy explained how Howes stunk it up. We have all experienced that silent but deadly moment. 💨💨💨
  2. But some go into review mode quicker than others. It all about attitude. Don’t call out others without owning your own,
  3. Latrelle was important in the last quarter. He had many touches playing upfield. Not match winning, but important when it mattered. The Pickett boys either look for each other, but me thinks they know each other. It comes natural. Jeffo had some good moments, but he seemed more focused and attacked the ball. To me he had the confidence to go hard. For a man who isn’t known to be hard, I was impressed by his confidence and attack. Small wins from two inexperienced but talented men. Kolt had his best game. It’s all about development and I’m proud of Jeffo and Kolt. Two whipping boys who improved on today’s performance.
  4. Not sure about XT having an attitude issue. In his draft year, last year, he had leadership capabilities. Let’s not assume, after 6 months this translates into AFL levels. The kid is just out of probation period in employment terms.
  5. I don’t want to take you to task here Ethan (and I am not), and I really love your view. It should not matter. But, it is so much more than a sexual identity. The sexual side is kind of a moot point. The AFL is a hyper masculine patriarchal community (although shifting). The courage of an ex AFL player to stand up and come out, is to be celebrated. This is a social issue. Some seem to want to talk against this issue (not you). But hey, I look forward to the day it is not an issue. Having said this, I appreciate your values.
  6. Fritta. You never put your hand into a dog fight. I think it’s common knowledge, but common knowledge isn’t always common. I’ll add PF. My version of common knowledge, is you consistently like to see the negative and stick in the boots to our club.
  7. Seriously? It’s the dogs fault??
  8. Relax ppls. Contracts and payments are not public knowledge. I trust the club to have a strategy for future success. May’s contract was accounted for this year well before his retirement. Paddy’s rookie contract is minimal.
  9. Interesting….. Calling out confirmation bias in others, to apply your own confirmation bias. Dog with a bone.
  10. Ash speaks highly of Ben and his influence. I’ll take her word on Ben.
  11. Ash was a nervous Nelly on big points and in big games. She hired Ben and started winning the big tournaments consistently.
  12. Ask Ash Barty and the RFC. Maybe the issue transcends beyond Ben and it’s the MFC.
  13. How do you stat structure? Because my (as some will claim as useless) naked eye, saw too many short sideways kicks and/or short kicks moving forward without a structured viable option (or plan) up ground. This led to long 50 meter bombs. When we had the opportunity to move fast, we often did move fast, but options up forward into the 50 meter arc, or up ground, were not there. Often resulting in giving the ball to the opposition, or to an out numbered players. Stats have a place, but then they don’t. Anyone can give me numbers, but the ultimate number says we were not good enough to win games to play finals. Good structure and system produces wins. Not stats.
  14. That is not a picture of someone in good health….
