The wife and I are having a moral dilemma...

I realise this is not football related but I need as much exposure before the mods rightfully shift it to the General Discussion section :)

Hand it in to the local cop shop.

If u r meant to have it the cops will return it to u after no one collects it.

Good luc.

Put it on a quaddie, loading up on the last leg. Or donate it to the school, demanding they rename the canteen 'Krazy Jays'

Return to police, give them the details of where it was found and what date/time.

If anyone has reported it missing, they can give correct amount and details, they get it.

If nobody claims it, it goes back to you.

All good.

Agreed. It is probably the days takings from the local weed dealer at the school, won't claim it

I'd buy the whole primary school drugs.

Also - probably don't give out any more details on Demonland, or we'll all be calling the police saying we lost 3x$100 notes

;)

Which I did, outside of a Primary School

First thought was 'finders, keepers'.  It could have belonged to any passer by and not anyone at the school

Then I read the early posts and felt really guilty:wacko:.

So if you feel really really bad, report it to the police (hold on to the money if that is allowed), and give them contact details so if someone reports it they can call you.

After a reasonable wait eg  1 weeks revert to first thought:  'finders, keepers'.

Keep it. Anyone that has a $100 note to begin with, can afford to lose it imo.

I found it. Public property. No owner. Is mine.

Finding cash in a public area and keeping it is still stealing. I'd be handing it to the local Police, chances are no one will claim it and you'll get it anyway, clear conscience.

Who is going to know you "stole" it? Anyway, this is a moral dilemma, not an issue of legality.

I'd keep it, even if it is breaking the law.

Just buy it for the teachers... they need it more

No doubt. Kids are already drugged up on ADHD medication or gender realignment pills.

What happens if the person who lost it knows roughly where they dropped it. There's CCTV cameras in the area which capture old man KrazyJay putting it in his pocket and walking away. KrazyJay's kids go to the school and he's recognised on the CCTV footage. Parents will talk and his kids will have to leave the school. They'll grow up hating their Dad and may become criminals themselves.

Just saying....

If you are really worried about it, go to the cop shop hand it in, no one says boo after a few months and you get the phat lootz.

Interesting thread tho...

I would've gone for 4 if not for the "Share the experience in detail with the school principal".  Shady buggers would work a kickback scheme involving the janitor..

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
