I reckon the North bloke threw his head back and played for a free kick, Cyril barely got him.  Deserved to be pinged for holding the ball.

That's exactly how I saw it. His head was on he way back before any contact...Great decision. PS : Firrito the biggest filthy animal in the game today.

Why is it that I just want Nth to lose tonight. I mean Nth are a club that has been nearly forced to move to the GC, battled hard I like there president but I just find it funny they have now lost to the top few teams. Maybe it's there coach who seems to complain all the time.

But they have no right to complain. They missed so many shot and some of them were easy and they just gave away undisciplined frees.

Yes Lindsay Thomas. Although I must admit he was entitled to a free kick that looked high but he won't get it because of his previous staging. there was also a play where he didnt want to go in hard and wanted the easy handpass and the hawks ended up clearing it.

But this is why nth arent getting spoken about as a premiership contender because they have lost to a few of these top teams.

I've tipped Hawthorn, so that's the only reason I'll go for them. Hate both these teams though. And score that my hotel room has FOX FOOTY, as there's no coverage on Channel 7 up in Sydney. Hopeless.

Would've been on 7mate

I'm with you. And as for Lindsay Thomas? Personification of the boy who cried wolf, absolutely no sympathy.

And it was just oh-so-delicious to see them lose the game directly due to some North [censored] staging for a high tackle. Brilliant stuff.

Kharma is a b.tch.

Brad Scott complaining about the terrible standard of umpiring.

Sicily modeling his game on Ducker Thomas.

Hawks just continue getting away with it.

Cyril's throws, blocking the man standing on the mark, creeping over the mark, plays on all favour Hawks.

Take away their skill at cheating and blowing the umps and they are nothing special.

Clarkson and Mitchell have piggish faces on their short stupid bodies. They speak through their noses and have bogan monotones.

Strike them down with thunder , Thor, and end them.

I hate  Smiley Mitchell more than  No mates Harvey

I think I just hate short ,skillful footballers who need a punch in the head.

I want these guys targeted with EXTREME PREJUDICE.

Sicily is my newest object of hatred-I am the boot of Italy and he is the Shyte on the end.

I think I just woke up hating short men-they are nearly all detestable.

Put them in a Hawks/North jumper and it compounds.

Sicily ducks as much as Thomas,.

Yes....and they have the head throwback king Puopolo as well plus the new ducking apprentice in Stewart.  Clarkson insists other clubs have a greater inventory of cheats than Hawthorn but the maths isn't working out for me.....

Thomas has been doing it for years.

Sicily is still new but needs to stop it now. He is on the verge of my shite list.

Daw needs a light bulb moment ala Maxxy vs Geelong where he suddenly woke up to the fact that he had a great body that could be used as a weapon. If he has that realisation look out.

Brad Scott says umpires told North Melbourne players Lindsay Thomas won’t be awarded high frees because ‘he’s a ducker’

Ha.

I recently had to cancel my foxtel play. The commentary/ sound was about 10 seconds behind the action.

Now I am stuck with Bruce on 7 where his commentary is 10 seconds ahead of the play.

I had some trouble trying to decide who to barrack for last night. Until I remembered who was North's coach.

Its hard to imagine an umpire actually saying that.  More likely: Lindsay won't get a free kick because he ducked (...meaning in this instance).

Scott said they won't lodge a complaint!  If he has a legitimate case then take it to the AFL...don't just bleat on TV about it, stirring up a frenzy and more headlines!!

Didn't hear Brad Scott criticise the umpiring when they got a great run from them against us in Tassie

That's because he was rolling in mud and drinking swill after the win.

When he loses he tends to squeal, grunt and oink a bit.

Surely the relentlessly consistent AFL will fine him for his outburst.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
