Viney has a knuckle injury doesn't he? Whilst having surgery suggests lengthy recovery time in order for the bone to fully heal, I imagine the risks involved in breaking it again are less than other areas of the body.

He'd have to hit somebody again with his hand or someone would have to kick his knuckle or something for further setback.

I feel like it's super important for him to play this week for a must win game for us. He can miss next week because I can't see us beating the swans in any way. And then there's the bye so that's two weeks off.

Yes, I'm a doctor.

Viney plays.

He didn't break it hitting someone though, if that's what you thought?

SEN saying Cloke has been dropped~

What's with the old regime of teams being embargoed until 6:25 pm Thurs?  There's articles on MFC website today, indicating Oscar & Frost are both pretty much definites for Monday, and it's also been announced Viney & Kennedy are in our squad for Monday...

Has something changed?

Don't know Vagg.  The source for the Cloke change appears to be Cloke himself to a a reporter. If true, not always the Club's at fault.

But I think the coaches do interviews on Wed/Thur and its a bit hard for them to answer no questions.

Btw, Roos also said Dawes is playing.

That's good at least he won't run back into form against us and kick 6 straight!

Ok.. Im a big Michie fan more then anyone but you need to take you 'Viv Michie number 1 ticket holder fan club' hat off.

Grimes Kennedy Newton and ANB are far more better options then Viv. He played 1 qtr in the midfield against Port and that was in the last qtr.. He has no place in our midfield anynore. Even Wagner and Hunt are already ahead of him in the back half.

Sad because i like Viv but thats the reality. Whether your a cousin or family relative i think its time to start accepting that Viv will struggle to make it past this year.

Not a relative at all. Yes I am a fan of his and I think he is harshly treated and yo yo's in and out despite playing reasonably well in most games. Others seem to get selected week in week out on less but that's just my opinion Was certainly hard done by getting dropped two weeks ago. I agree he will probably go at the end of the season but it seems he is in the squad this week.

They said on the radio today that the pies would likely bring witts in to go up against gawn in the ruck. Then on 9 they just said cloke dropped. He kicked 7 in the corresponding game last year. Wow I was so worried he'd find form against us and kick straight and a big number. But did nayone see the contest that he shirked out of last weel? They showed it on footy classified. If it was Watts that did it it would have been everywhere and more spoken about it.

Dropping Jeffy is interesting. But he did have a shocker last week.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
