H they're being careful because of Concussion as well, so he really just had the session off to try and make sure he's right later in the week.

I have thought we are far superior than them over the past 2 years but the evidence has finally convinced me they are slightly ahead of us right now.  I am still very confident we have the better/younger list and will be much better than them very soon

I suppose there are degrees. No problem with a player being called fringe.

I'm not sure about being described ordinary or average.

I simply detest a footballer (for any team)  being called a spud.

not so much that  -  i think that you can critique a player like Lucas Cook  - he didn't have the intestinal fortitude to be an AFL footballer, nor did he possess enough pace for a man his size or marking ability and his decision making skills and disposal were not good enough. That's a critique - that's pointing out short comings. Fair game in the competitive AFL environment. "He's a spud" is plain disrespectful.

He got a massage around the groin/upper thigh at least twice early in the session, looked a bit uncmfortable and left the track    these days if a player sneezes they are sent inside There were quite a few cameras and reporters there today who were all over his leaving     it may be nothing   had a really solid hitout on Saturday we sometimes forget he is only 18

I don't dispute any of that, I just see him as an important cog in our midfield at present and I want him playing on Sunday.

I saw vision of him jogging from today and he clearly looked uncomfortable.

c) His inclusion might be the x factor needed to turn point b) around

d) We are playing at home

e) Should be a big crowd considering our last win (never underestimate the power of the home crowd)

The two guys that would be under the pump from last week are Michie and Stretch.

Salem, while he has been poor this year, is a better option than Michie.

Not sure they'll drop Stretch after one week.
