Hope we kick up a stink about playing our home game at St Kildas HOME GROUND. Ffs

Stop making excuses. We haven't brought the required work rate and we've been unclean with our ball handling and decision making all game.

Once again we can't live up to the flucking hype.  No doubt pencilled in a win just like Essendon.

Too many on here drink their own bath water and think we are better than we are.

We needed fresh legs on a short week but no.

We we needed to change and man up on Reiwoldt but no.

We needed a sweeper to stop their loose man up forwarding every single 50 entry but no.

Poor play and poor coaching and selecting.

This is a massive test for us. 5 day break, ground we don't like against an opponent who knows they can beat us. Will our players respond? Everything I know about this club says they won't. Is this "New Melbourne" real, or just a mirage.

Yeah...

Well I've freed myself of an expectation of a win, which is a relief. Hopefully we can at least restore a little bit of respect.

What a bitter disappointment.

Did you free yourself midway through the second or at the start of the third?

Terrible ground.

Terrible ticketing

same f. Wittery from the umpires.

paul Roos on 1.5mill as I watch Riewoldt run rampant as H and Tmac point at each other.

Dunn is selfish, useless ,fat and finished.

Reiwoldt again.FMD

our backs are makeshift, reactive and have no aerial skill.

I keep falling for it again and again and again.. The Dee's make us all look stupid with these efforts. No wonder we get so fired up.

Going to get drunk.

Beat you. Started at 1/2 time

Two things stand out,

1.  Leg speed.   Keep thinking of lethal Mathews after the bombers game saying any side with good leg speed would beat or trouble Dee's.

2. Coaching.   Everyone could see 3rd quarter coming, but nothing changed after half time -  look clueless to clog up and defend saints fwd line,

We are playing st kilda, not Hawthorn, it's a disgraceful performance, not even competitive

St. Kilda would have beaten Hawthorn but for a disgraceful incorrect disposal decision at the end of the game.

Every  team, even Essendon and Carlton have to be taken as seriously as Vladimir Putin

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
