GAMEDAY - Round 6

Our defense has lost us this. Dysfunctional.

Dunn, McDonald, Salem all shockingly outplayed. Salem has been very average.

This is far worse than the loss to Essendon!

there would be a handful of players who don't deserve to be dropped.

This is bad but nothing beats the Essendon match

Saints 8.3 from clearances

Reiwoldt 14 scoring involvements....always kills us as no one can go with him

Would love to see our tackle count....we putting enough pressure on?

And many were crowing about finals. We are an OK side not a top 8 side and beating Richmond and Collingwood isn't much to brag about.

Lucky we prepared for their best.............. again............

That is one cliche that need to be banished forever.

We are getting run off our feet. Saints just stuffed up two 1v4s in their forward line.

There has never been a club in history more capable of getting ahead of themselves. They have made it an art form. Seriously pizzed off with Roos coaching today. Richardson - BOG

The coaching is a joke.

This zone defence isn't working so make a change. Dunn and McDonald are in LaLa land. Wtf?!

Coaches can't force players to run and try

Gawn must have the flu

They dont have a rated ruckman and still killing us

TMac, Hunt = 0 tackles

Salem, Jetta, Pederson, Harmes, Garlett, Frost, Bugg = 1 tackle

If we can get it under 20 points going in to 3 qtr time then we're a chance.

Anything above 5 goals and it's game over.  We've been poor but it doesn't take much to turn it around.

This is still by far the most concerning thing for me, we're still incapable of turning around our own [censored] form in game

Memory who? 5 goals... defence has broken down. Uncontested down by 63 ouch

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
