Yes we play Saints at Etihad as a home game, not ideal, we also play the Bombers at the G as an away game.

The filth play two home games at Etihad, it's not just us. One vs North.

I can stomach everything in our fixture except the 2 games at Etihad against the Saints. That is just BS from the AFL, that would never be accepted by another club.

I agree but would add the late Sunday game against the Dogs, it is like the AFL set us up to have small crowds just to justify putting us bad time slots where no one draws a good crowd.

I've never read so much negativity. You guys are so depressing expecting the AFL to hand it to us. Who cares about the draw, and nuff nuffs who are to up themselves to go to Etihad are supporters we don't need.

I think you'll find most of those nuff nuffs are MCC members, including myself, most of which would not go near Etihad.

What a shockingly uninformed comment. Round 23 on a Sunday (Fathers Day) at 1:10pm against a pathetic club like GWS in a year when we had played poorly in the second half. Great scheduling.

But keep blaming your fellow supporters who pay their money for memberships each year. I buy 6 memberships each year and if I choose not to go its none of your stinking business. Maybe I might not buy memberships next year and see how the club goes.

It's not the late 80's - early 90's anymore. Memberships have generally increased by the year and so too should the crowds.

On the contrary, terrible attendances embarrass the AFL. We refused to support the AFL's GWS@Etihad fuxture, and now it's gone.

He claimed that the 6-6-6 arrangement had been maintained. My understanding was that, in our case, we'd play the top 6 once, the next six once, and the 5 other teams in our six twice (22 games).

Play Collingwood twice.

2x Friday night games.

Well, that's not happening.

No that's not how it works. If you're in the bottom 6 you play 2-3 of those in your third of the ladder twice, 1-2 of the middle third twice anf 0-1 of the top third twice. The afl would never implement a fixture that didn't leave it open to their manipulation to still get the blockbusters/derbies etc twice a year.
