FMD! I had a ton Freo last night. Full time half time double @ $1.42.

It seemed a good bet at the time! FMD.

Gamblers and their cash are easily parted.

What is it with some of these small forwards?

Charlie Cameron seems to be unwilling to kick a goal unless its spectacular today, and last night Michael Walters was selling candy when they were 10 goals down.

Its such a backwards stereotype, and yet a lot of these guys fill it.

Just play progressive footy.

This is potentially definitely the most hilarious game of football I've ever seen.

Gotta feel for Ed, must be devastated.

That was a ripping match though. Credit to Carlton, showed a hell of a lot of effort and run for a team with crappy skills and disposal. Wish Melbourne players could put in a similar performance.

Seems like they have gained something since Neeld sorry Mick left.

Can't expect us to beat Carlton on the effort they put up today. Come to think of it we can't beat any club that has a crack. Edited by america de cali

I though they played well last week considering their injuries and they were playing Sydney at home.

I think the question deserves to be asked once and for all: Has Hird finally lost the players? 0.6.6 in nearly half a game of footy. Geelong up by nearly 50 points.

Rather ironic that after everything the club has done to re-sign and protect Hird in spite of the drugs saga (all while pushing a proven coach like Bomber out the door), it's become bleedingly obvious the man isn't a coach's a**hole.

Mind you, I'm enjoying it with an expensive bottle of red. In the words of Bruce, simply delicious.

Is Hird still the coach? He seems to be no more than a PR thing for the members down on the bench while the coaches in the box do the coaching.

That will be Neeld and Craig.

That explains why they haven't kicked a goal to half time.

Hilarious stuff.

James Hird, Neil Craig, Mark Harvey and Mark "It is what it is" Neeld.

The coaching dream team.

Glass houses, etc., but I'll post anyway:

One rushed behind in the second quarter (compared to 6.4). This is against Geelong, too. We're not talking Hawthorn or Sydney here. Geelong's 4-5 and below Essendon on the ladder (not for much longer it seems though).

Hopefully we win, but if we don't, at least the focus should be off us.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
