Watts for Aish

Pick 3 on aggressive utility

Aish, Brayshaw , Viney, Salem, Toumpas, Tyson, Petracca, Trengove

Midfield is looking ok..

Midfield is looking even better if you put N. Jones and Vanders in it (& maybe even Neal-Bullen).

I think you are a trifle heroic if you think Aish (a South Australian) would prefer to come here when both teams in his home state are more likely to provide him with a chance of playing in finals. Also what would motivate Brisbane to trade him for Watts?

I will wait for a few more weeks until I turn my attention to 2016, thankyouverymuch...

I get the feeling we will be seeing up and downs all year, like the GWS second half downer... screws with our emotions and expectations

still, I'll take ups and downs as opposed to just downs like recent years

Reakon we'll be the next Superpower.

7 wins this season is par for me, any less is a fail and no finals 16, 7 wins or more and we should be around 8th to 10th 2016

Not sure if it's evidence of us being recognised as a genuine side or not, or just that we have at least one decent player, but I'm loving seeing Nate Jones everywhere lately.

Not until forwards Hogan , Garlett and Dawes regularly kick straight .

He marketable and recognisable. Still only ranked 100 in the league. Has a face and demeanour that stands out, easy for people to remember. He needs to go up a level though. Edited by praha

If we finally have a good run of injuries in 2016, we could be chance. Hawks have one player unavailable at the moment, a kid yet to play a game. That's unheard of for us.

Anyway, without knowing who we may pick up/lose with FA/trade, my 2016 team is:

Garland McDonald Frost

Jetta Dunn Salem

Vince Viney Lumumba

Watts Hogan Kent

Howe Dawes Garlett

Gawn Jones Tyson

Vandenberg Cross Brayshaw Petracca

Unlucky or depth: JKH Toumpas Stretch ANB Trengove Pederson Spencer M Jones Grimes First round pick. Was speaking to BMac at training who said Mitch White could really come on as e rebounding defender.

If the youngsters continue to come on, we will finally have good footballers playing in the VFL.

Can't see Howe being here next year.

We could be competing for the 8th spot by next season but I don't think we will get in.

Maybe 2017 more like it.

I think we'll be pushing around tenth to seventh place next year. We're a sneaky chance for finals but I wouldn't bet the house on it.

Will be a pity if we make finals and then the coach leaves.

Not if he wins a Gand Final

Let's not forget the quick rise and fall of Port Adelaide. A kick of the grand final to being an also ran a year later. Anything can happen. Basing next year on this year's form is fools gold. We could get much better, or we could stall.

Ask me midway into next season and I will give you an answer.

We're playing a very different style of game plan to Port, whose high-risk, high-reward falls down when key players lose form. We're playing a hard fought contested game, but we're also very pretty to watch when we are attacking, particularly coast-to-coast on the slingshot. Roos is building a game style that will succeed in September. We just need to get the personnel right.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
