Rumour has it that Swannys had another run in with Collingwood and decided to part ways. If there is any substance to this, should we have a crack at him?

You gotta be kidding.

Great bloke to go to the pub with.

Terrible bloke to have in your footy side.

Forgotten how many times I've seen him out on the tiles, way beyond comprehensible.

Might have worked for him in the past as far as backing it up on the field, but no longer, and it's not the example you want set for the kids at the club who may not possess the same superhuman abilities.

Its not true. Swan taken to Twitter to refute claims/ #obsurd

Well, I certainly don't want anyone at our club who can't spell.

I hear JC is getting itchy feet!! things are boring upstairs. Any takers??

I really feel the Collingwood fitness and coaching staff pushed him to return to early. You could see the moment he went out there he wasn't right. A pre-season and a club taking it easy with him for a while would get his body right (or manageable). I would have him in a heartbeat; he's a [censored] with some poor attitudes but he can play. And Paul Roos has a good track record of turning people's attitudes around.

But I am assuming this rumour to be a bit of a load. I'm just surprised that there are so many that would say no to him.

Personaly while swan gets a lot of the ball (Great for DT) he is not that damaging with it. Prefer a player that damages the opposition with al possessions.

He is not a long kick of the ball. But I watched him closely and he kicks a lot of mongrel, floating helicopters that seem to find their mark. Go figure.

He's 30. The thought process is often to write players off at that age the first time they have a couple of injuries where the reality is they can play many more years.

That said he'll now mainly play half forward and use his game smarts to rack up possessions and kick some goals. I think his days as anything more than a rotational midfielder are coming to an end. So really that's not what we need. If we are going to recruit a 30 year old I'd rather a wingman or a half back giving us big upgrades.

I'm pretty sure he'll stay at the Pies anyway.

I read an article about him earlier this year along the lines of a hand or wrist operation hampers his quick hand movement and impedes his marking. He has trouble bending his wrists.

Once a genuine superstar but appears to be past it.

Regardless, we should all be patently aware of our culture and leadership problems. Swan not only fails to assist in either regard, he drags those problems backwards.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
