I think the forecast is for a few clearing showers in the morning and then clearing to a fine day....

I want Freo to win in a close one. Always nice to see a club that hasn't had any recent success get one.

My main hope the umpiring is good.

Posted elsewhere.

Hawks by 18 points - Freo won't be able to lock them down all day and they'll have the momentum for some period(s). They'll need to kick goals though - which I think they will - if they continue to miss from set shots like they have been then they'll lose.

I hope Freo win though - Kennett, Dermott, Dipper, Buckenara, Newbold etc - they're easy to hate.

Umpiring mistake resulting in Freo win - hard to top that really.

Freo...less than a kick

Ill be going and supporting the dockers and Ross lyon who I was fortunate enough to see coach the Saints in the 2010 Grannie.

Compare the players he had back then to work with to now.. He's in a much better position. Hopefully he & the Dockers can finally taste victory.

Dockers by 11pts.

Freo to win !! It appears I'm wearing purple socks today!!! So it's an omen !!

Going to be very windy and I feel that will certainly favour Freo over Hawthorns less manic style .

I'll go for Freo. I predict they will start off the game like they did with Collingwood at Subiaco earlier in the year. A tsunami like surge in the first quarter and then keep the Hawks at arms length the rest of the game.

I jumped on Freo in late April when they were 17/1. Even Freo/Rabbitos was 75/1 and Freo/Roosters was 100/1.

But what worries me is that a side like Richmond have the wood over Hawthorn. Richmond are the opposite of Freo. They hardly tackle and press etc.

That is why I think I will lose my investments and Hawthorn might win by 28. Hope I'm 29 points off.

Carn Hawks!

I couldnt bare to see Freo win.

You sound like a latent WC supporter. Do you have the same feelings for WC? A team that has routinely humilated us for over 2 decades. I smell a class traitor. Edited by america de cali

Let us look at the facts, hawks finished on top with 3 losses, they are playing at their home ground, they were runner up last year. It all points to a Dorks win if you work off the odds! But then both sides are physically equal for the challenge. But for me if you have been there you might just get a jump start to set you up for a win.

I'm hoping for a similar result but in Hawthorns favour. It's almost nauseating in Perth at the moment if you're not a Freo supporter.

If you lived in Perth and knew the history if how arrogant this club can be even when they're clearly sht, you would understand where DWA is coming from.

I see it a different way. I wish we had this genuine in your face attitude and arrogance. They had a long time wallowing in [censored] and good luck to them. We have had even longer [censored] time. I kind of see more hope for us if they succeed. Perhaps you are confusing their now with their past Schwab/Connolly days.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
