Done Deal from Rodan via Sellar's Twitter:

“@DROD_00: nek minnit ...im a demon. Can't wait to get started #bringon2013 #thirdtimelucky #carnthedees!” Look forward to training with ya!

But why the urgency? Why not wait until he is a delisted free agent?

This way we are ensuring we get him and our late picks probably not of great value in any case. If he goes into the psd GWS or GC could snaffle him

Was just about to post the same thing Timmy

I assume PA caught wind of what we were doing and said 'we don't ahve to delist him, and then you won't be able to secure him until draft day...'

And we say - here is a draft pick we won't use.

Pick 63 or 70 is my guess.

So not delisting rodan, just to screw us, Why would any club do that?

And i think Port already delisted him?

seems we are giving a late draft pick to port for him (according to afl.com)

I know....that's strange wasn't he delisted?

A little bit old but I am actually happy with that. Puts pressure on the young blokes to stand up & be counted anyway.

Rodan just tweeted he is now a demon and bring on 2013!

If he can have a couple of injury free seasons with us we will benefit from his pace and tenacity, we will be a better team for it and that's all I care about.

If it's a bust we didn't spend anything substantial. I guess when the club said they would leave "no stone unturned" they really meant it. Anyway good luck to him, if all this means is we don't have to see lackluster performances from our other small forwards than that is a win by itself.

We are trying to do it with Cook, Petterd, Bate, etc.

And until you are off a list lodgement you ain't delisted...

We aren't going to waste our PSD pick on him. We will swap late picks to get him over the line.

I doubt Port are trying to get something out of this... They want him to play on somewhere else I'd guess

Good get! I rate him. Just needs too stay on the park. A late draft pick allows us to still be active in PSD.

It screws me with my Richmond mates, I reckon he was the worst player in the comp when he was with them, lots of action for no result. Hope he learnt something at Port.

And after the first 5 minutes of the first game he plays and his knee/hammy goes, who do we replace him with?

Someone else quicker than Moloney. lol

I am travelling through India at the moment and was taking some random snaps yesterday when I came across this bloke.

Was it an omen?

If that creepy guy on the left spying on you is David Rodan, then yes.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
