Those 3 forwards were great but our midfield was very good at that time. I'm sure even non MFC supporters would know the names of Viney, Tingay, Lovett, Stretch and Lovell to name a few.

Delisted free agents can just be signed instantly so if we have our eye on someone it has to be someone who can't work out a contract but the club doesn't want to delist them or a player from another comp. My guess is Ahmed Saad or Jarryd Lyons. Either would be a good pick up but I would be pretty happy with Lyons.

The comment was trade Pick 2 to the dogs for a mid and pick 6. Use pick 3 on Brayshaw and still have pick 6 left to trade or use in the draft.

I really like Petracca, Laverde, Webb, Stretch and Daniel. I hope we get at least 3 of them. I really hope we give Caleb Daniel a chance though, he looked really good today and can play. I don't think his height will be an issue, he reminds me a lot of Boomer Harvey.

Frawley also made a comment along the lines of "hopefully we will be playing finals soon" That to me says he's staying. He was speaking about the club as we. It's exciting that there's good players to pick in our best 22 that are not Bail or Nicholson etc. Leaving out of this team are players like Matt Jones, Mckenzie, Blease, Tapscott, pick 9 and Barry. The point being we have a lot of players in front of nicho and bails for a game which shows we are getting great depth finally!

I hope we can get Karnezis or Bruce for pick 2 psd. If Taylor Adams didn't get a trade done that would be good too! I'm sure that trade will get done though, I think Karnezis is a real chance though!

If we don't trade pick 2 I'm another one who has joined the bandwagon for Freeman! The comparisons to Dangerfield are just too hard to go past. A bit of speed in the midfield to go with inside game is just what we need. I hope we get him!

A caller on sen on Friday asked the ox who we would get with pick 2. The caller said he had predicted Roos as coach, watts staying and Sylvia going so who will we get for pick 2? Schwarta said straight away Dylan Shiel! He said it wouldn't be done til nearly the end of trade time but was pretty confident the deal would end up getting done. The caller said he obviously hoped he was right once again!

They aren't worth much I would prefer to keep both of them and see if Roos can get the best out of them.

I mentioned this in the rumour thread. If Jamar is traded why don't we go after Billy Longer? We could trade Pick 2 and Jamar (can be reunited with Beamer) for Longer and pick 7. Then we could still draft Freeman most likely. Plus hawks miss out on their ruckman!

With the prospect of Jamar being traded, maybe we should look at getting Billy Longer. I wonder if the lions would be interested in pick 2 for Longer and Pick 7? I think that would be a good deal. There could even be a 3 way trade with collingwood so they can get Karnezis maybe. I would love to steal the hawks possible ruckman from under their noses!

We should try and trade pick 2 and 21(Sylvia compo) to the pies for picks 10, 11, 31 and Shaw. If not shaw ask for Sam Dwyer. Then we could get 2 of Freeman, Crouch Kolodjashnij or Sheed along with Shaw or Dwyer. We could still get Zak Jones with pick 20, Dayle Garlett with 31 and Trade 38 for Michie. Cross delisted free agent. I would love Chapman too but it seems the clubs not interested unfortunately. At the end of trades and drafting we could have: Freeman Crouch Dwyer / Shaw Jones Garlett Michie Cross Hogan It looks good to me, our midfield would improve a lot!
