No It should be supporters and posters like me who have the opportunity to be part of a wide community of Melbourne supporters who should be thanking you. If it wasn't for Demonland and 'Ology I am sure my interest would have waned long ago.

Couldn't agree more Mydee. As an interstate supporter, Demonland is my football 'lifeblood'. Sincere thanks to all involved in Demonland! I don't know how you do it, but you manage to keep me sane, but drive me mad at the same time.

For all the occasional bickering, most (though not all) who post here seem to be passionate fellow Demon worshipers and I for one am very grateful to those who run the site, and to most of the posters.

Let us all look forward to a huge preseason and 2013!

Well played 'Land. To the people who run the sight, & to those who pass on info & thoughts.

We are a tough bunch to still be here in 2012.

thank-you to the people who run this site (prefer the more common spelling myself) - won't take long before we know what will be happening to our beloved club......................

No, thank you Demonland! You have saved me. Before i stumbled upon Demonland I was of the belief that I was an irrational pathetically pessimistic demon supporter who only ever saw the darkness, a lost cursed soul doomed to walk this earth alone in my misery. Now after a year or so of following Land I know that I am not alone at least. In fact compared to many on Land I'm positively optimistic. Praise the lord it's a miracle! Thank you Demonland.

We should also thank the moderators on the site (disclosure - I'm one of them  ). It's a difficult and often thankless task having to act at times as arbiter of what is and what is not permitted on the site. This is especially so when we go through a season such as the one we've recently experienced (and the one before that).

There is no such thing as an uneventful football season but let's hope that the next one will have some more uplifting and exciting stories about them than the last two.

I would also like to add my thanks to everyone involved in running this site. As a lone Melbourne supporter in my family and having no friends who follow the Dees, I now feel a part of the Demonland family and know I am not alone in my love for this great club.

I have just returned from four weeks overseas and thanks to Demonland, I had my finger on the pulse of what was happening at home.

Looking forward to a great 2013. Go Dees!

Yep basically agree with all above

Isolated from Melb and being busy running business 7 days and maintaining small rural property

DLand is a great alternative release. Cheaper than a psychologist

A great collection of like minded who dont mind giving or getting mild offense blended with some outrageous humor.

Really appreciate the dedication of those who provide training and match reports

and the attention of the moderators and admin who keep it ticking along.

My only concern is I find it so fascinating that it it sometimes consumes too much time

But through it all the Passion displayed provides hope for us all.

GO DEES

Thanks to everyone involved in running the best football site on the net, with the best articles, accurate information and (mostly) logical and fair discussions.

Yeah, a massive thanks to all the site administrators, posters and viewers.

While there are divergent opinions, perspectives + arguments, we all have one thing in common - we love the footy club and would love to see us climb back off the dungheap and back to the top where we belong.

Kepp the faith peeps - after all success will taste sweeter considering how much bitter we have been forced to swallow over the last few years!!

Same here DOF. This site (and 'ology back in the day) gave me a connection to the club and an opportunity to network with other MFC supporters I'd never had anything like before. I don't think I'd be even a fraction as passionate or active as a supporter if I hadn't had such an opportunity to feed of others passion and support.

It's why I like to give back to the site as much as I can.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
