What the [censored] has happend to this bloke!?

He has been pansted all year, his decision making is atrocious, when gets beaten on the lead he looks around and yells at everyone else which is sometimes fair enough but at the same time sometimes his desperation to hit the contest hard or put a full on body contact on his opponent is just not there.

Massive fan of his but lately he has been really frustrating to watch!

agreed. i'm also a fan, but he was embarrassing today, and on most occasions it had nothing to do with the midfield pressure. he got owned.

He was comprehensively dismantled today. In 2010, I knew that whoever he went and stood beside was going to struggle to kick 1 or 2, perhaps Buddy excepted. While he has been far from terrible, he doesn't look the same player this year. He was a physical beast in 2010.

Worst game Ive ever seen him play ....and Im big fan. Maybe Walker is THAT good? or Frawleys injured? If neither then he's seriously got some work to do. Ive never seen him make a fool of himself before...he's usually the only one that doesnt. sigh.

I reckon he has yet to buy into what Neeld wants and probably one of the players Green was appealing to in his retirement press meeting...Love Frawley but he often players like he isn't interested.

That is the first time Frawley has been beaten all year. Agree though his run and disposal has not been his usual output. He has looked hampered for most of the second half of the year. Cant jump or accelerate so keen to see whether he has any post season op.

Walker is that good, but Frawleys lost size and tries to do too much.

Just be a backman, thats your role, put on some more size and just concerntrate on doing your job.

Before the game they showed some highlights of his career, and i was shocked at how his game has changed from some one who backs him self 100 % , to some one with no confidence who second guesses all the time.

the great glass ceiling of the MFC, nobody shall get beyond B+ level no matter what

last year's frontline: Sylvia, Jamar, Davey, Moloney, Frawley.. what did they contribute in '12 as a group?

we truly are the skidmarks on the jocks of this competition

Most of the year he's been serviceable and late in the year he's been just reasonable which I expect is due to injury. Today was probably a culmination of that. It's not an excuse but it was certainly a bad performance. I have faith he'll bounce back. Certainly I'd like to see Rivers down back again soon to give the backline some more leadership and a calming influence.

I've been saying it all season but could we just give Tom McDonald a go at CHF and put Rivers down back for a game late in the season now. What is the worst that can happen!

Very very disappointing game from him.

He does look hampered by some sort of leg or lower back injury?

Either way, he was smashed today, which happens even to the best defenders once in a while (and especially when the opposition midfield continues to win uncontested clearances!!!!), but his body language was pathetic.

He is now a senior player, and a leader, and he needs to stop sooking when things are going against him.

Just as a side note, Mark Neeld needs to re-evaluate this "rob the backline to bolster the forwardline" crap. It's doing more harm than good.

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
