Honestly, get over it.

And if a young 'gun' wanted to come to us in similar circumstances...?

I think we'd be rubbing our hands together with delight.

This Scully sooking is getting very boring.

Nope, not getting over it.

Too boring for you? Don't reply please and I'll return the favour.

I'll bite! He probabaty faked it  I sometimes wonder why the cowards don't ask him about it?

There is nothing wrong with that knee, no more injured than any other young midfielder.

We got rolled over. But so did GW$ and their contract is much longer.

Well, to be honest, Little Tommy is traveling a lot better then Trengove, we are really

stuck with this guy, can not drop the captain, and he can not buy a kick.

A decision will be required shortly and there will

be a few red faces.

Have we done well out of the deal,? depends if we blow both picks on a Silvia and McLean.

Why do some people close their eyes to reality?

Trengove doesn't deserve that bagging. He plays a different role to Scully and is under a lot more pressure as skipper.

Saturday's stats were 10 kicks 11 handballs - hardly useless when compared to Scully's figures unless you want to be selectively supercritical.

There are always one or two Blueys in a crowd so I suppose we need to humour them with facts and logic.

I think the problem with TS is that he went out of the way to convey a misleading impression he was staying, so when he went North it undermined our re-build. Anyway, turnover tommy probably is better suited to Kev's shiny suits, and we are certainly better off withthe money in Mitchell Clark's access account.

PS It was all KS's fault anyway; telling in the way he taunted us to go see our boy play at the G recently.

I think it is telling that he is not in there leadership team the kids dont rate him, after his contract is up he will be asked to tak pay cute a 50%

Are you (and others) still insisting that the MFC didn't have any tests/examinations made of Scully's knee? Are you saying he told the club something along the lines of: "Look, I've got a bit of a chronic knee thingy going on here, so you better give me a rest" and the MFC responded, "No problem Tommy boy... you're our #1 pick, so as far as we're concerned, despite all of the conjecture about your staying or going, your word is good enough for us"?

Sorry, but for me, that just doesn't add up.

Sure, we should be bitter with regards to how and why he left, but to invent scenarios and to suddenly (not necessarily in your case WYL) brand him as an absolute dud, when the same posters would likely be praising his potential if he had remained a Dee, is laughable.

I'm completely over the Scully thing now.

We are the big winners out of all this.

The best we can do now is not to mention him,as he is just another opposition player.

Just like Brock the pain has now gone away.

Scully was the last thing we needed anyway, he isnt a man, he is a boy, what use is that to us when we

are crying out for leadership! How could Scully ever lead men? I dont think he'll ever make a man.

I just see through Scully.

He plays tense, like he is always bracing for impact, scared pehaps, has no composure at all,

he rushes too much to get rid of it, he lacks awareness more often than not.

He is a very poor mans Andrew Gaff - apologies to Gaff.

We should be very big winners out of Scully, god bless the kid.

Some of youse blokes need to get a grip, honestly.

Of the 20,000 threads (approx) and climbing. The 4 billion posts relating or related too one Tom Scumbag, not one has nailed that MFC

took a double whammy when all this unfolded.,and the all the facts came out.

1st we lost a N01 pick we staged all year to secure, but not only that. The real issue was, we missed out on NSW best developement coach

(Phat Phil), Why else would Pendergast walk, he lost a potential right hand man.

And THAT is why we got 2 (TWO) comp picks.

Clear as day to some, clouded to others.

Scully in sizzling form again today with 6 kicks and 10 handballs, the spud played on from a mark and managed to get a goal touched of his boot 2 metres from the goal line, which I enjoyed immensely. Can't you just feel those media maggots warming up their typing fingers to start getting stuck into this guy as everyone wonders why in the name of God he is getting 50 grand a game, which is over 10 grand a kick at the moment. Meanwhile his side is enjoying a fantastic debut year, with 14 losses to go alongside their win over the other hacks, culminating in an average losing margin of 80 points including losses of 162, 129, 119, 94 and 92. Today they played at home and the Crows piled on 18 goals after time. Hope Tommy is loving it.

Mr Curry you are a very bitter Man! Much prefer playing under Sheedy than in this pathetic rabble called MFC.

How true! The more you all keep crying highlights just how bitter you still are. Why constantly bag out on a 20 yo kid that took 6 mill. Melbourne were always going to be a basket case under Neeld and he could see that.

This guy is amazing not only did he know to sign up 12 months early he also could forsee Neeld being coach of Melbourne in 2012.

That's some brain power.

This thread would be a lot more poignant if the MFC was pushing hard for finals

We'll just bump it back up when that happens......

Went out to Homebush yesterday with a friend who won tickets (that is how they get people to the games up here) and was bored.

Adelaide were fine, professional and at time quite fun to watch. GWS were at times pretty good, but so tiny by comparison.

The issue with Scully is that after all the lying and conning he did to us, watching him fail (and he was stunningly ineffectual) is a bit of a sick thrill.

It's not making the world turn, but theres really no point denying it ;) !!!

You all must be thrilled that Bluey has made the trek across from ology :-)

I posted elsehwere about Gaff at WCE. Was he not off contract? Has all of Scully's pace and endurance but can hit a target. Come home factor?

Hoping he hasn't re-signed with WCE recently.

We may well be immune to spelling issues, given the years we've spent with the wonderful creativity of Belzebub :) !!!

Pretty sure Gaff has re signed Leftie.

Bluey just loves to stir the pot doesn't he; what surprises me most is that all of a sudden he can spell most of the words in his posts.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
