The only possible scenario which might just be played out is finally, mercifully and well overdue is

Upon reflection I have him ahead of Morton but cheezus we are in strife if his reported form at Casey is any guide and he gets a game on the strength of??!

And oh yes, why, why was Couch upgraded when clearly the footy dept won't play him surely 27 odd hard won possessions earns him a game and if what I have read is true any rookie can be upgraded the second half of the season.

The trouble with Moloney is that the opposition are all over him. He can only turn right, kick right foot, handball right hand and only sees the right hand side of the ground. Any assistant coach worth his salt, can teach even your average stopper to over play Moloney's right hand side and that is the end of Moloney for the game. He might get eight or nine scrambled possessions but that is it. It's not his fault that he is limited. It is our problem that we expect him to do more than he is capable of agianst quality opposition.

Yes our inability to kick decent scores has been a concern for some time and is now a disaster without Jurrah and clark. Come trade time, forwards must be our priority.

As to getting "destroyed". I have two good reasons for hoping this does'nt happen. First. Can you imagine the tattooed tongues of their supporters carping about how they won with half a team etc. etc. It would be enough reason to open an artery. Second I have placed a moderate wager on the Dees at $5.20.

I'm feeling slightly optimistic this weekend, but in Dees supporter style I am keeping the lid screwed on tightly!! I'd be feeling a whole lot better if the Russian was back in. I agree that the gaping hole is in the forward line, but we knew that was going to be a challenge the second we lost Mitchy. Who knows, stranger things have happened before, we did beat Essendon!! The emergencies are suspicious to me, I wouldn't be surprised to see some late changes, but that might be wishful thinking. Richmond are there for the taking this week with everything that has been going on at their club and the players they have lost through injury. We should be able to take it up to them, I do not want to see another 10 goal loss, and if a few things go our way then we might find ourselves on top.
