I'm told that I'm at odds with the world, because I hate the Cats more than I do the Pies.

It's too hard to call who's going to win, and I'm not starting a thread which seeks to analyse the strengths and weaknesses for each side etc.

I simply want to know who you would prefer to win the 2011 Premiership.

I will be barracking for the Pies.

Sorry, Collingwood is the sworn enemy and there is no way I could want them to win!

Can't help but admire not only how the Cats have gone about this year and the past 5 years in the AFL.

Geelong. Couldn't bring myself to support the filth if they hadn't won a Flag for 100 years.

Legitimately don't care. Last year I was all for the Pies for the same reason as the OP, intense boiling hatred for the team they were playing. This year let's hope 44 players do a knee and we'll be assured of going up at least two spots on the ladder in 2012.

Why? Why would you want the Filth to win?

Just backed the Cats so I revoke my previous comments.

The Scots have a saying "Anyone but England".

For me "Anyone but Collingwood" (or the Hawks, or Carlton, or WC, or ..)

Want the Cats to win but they won't. It's back-to-back Pies unfortunately.

I am sick of Geelong the umpires pets - team of whingers, always looking for a free kick, drop the ball as soon as they get tackled

Collingwood for me......

I want the Cats to win by a goal after the final siren kicked by one S. Johnson.

Is this even a question? Any true Vicotrian, nay Australian, is going for the Cats. Can you imagine the rubbish we would have to put up with if the Pies not only went back-to-back but at the same time equalled Carlton and Essendon on 16 flags? Makes me sick even thinking about it.

And for the guy who talked about the Cats being the umpires pets and whinging for free kicks - Collingwood are the AFL pets and whinge for EVERYTHING!!!

I don't want to answer this question as I hate the filth with all of my being, but am sick and bloody tired of Geelong winning everything, it's really getting boring. I think in the end I have to say that the team I want to win is Geelong, as I reckon this is probalbly their last roll of the dice, and no matter how sick of them winning I may be I just can't back the Pies. It is a horrible situation to be in though :)

One can only dream, can't they?

I'd say the Pies because i live in Geelong and it's painful living in this town when you DON'T barrack for Geelong. The Geelong Advertiser and supporters are beyond annoying. BBBBBBUUUUTTTTTTTTT...

I'm going to go for GEELONG tomorrow because whenever the Cats win the Grand Final it means it is an amazing night out in town all weekend. So i say Geelong for good times and party sakes.

Collingwood. Because Eddie will have ousted a dual premiership coach

- for what?

So Buckley can get the job. He won't fill Malthouse's boots. No way.

It's not recipe for ongoing success.

Collingwood wins and it's one step forward and two steps back. Sweet.

i want the cats to win again. Admire the way they play, and they have alot of likeable players - Chappy, Corey, Ling, Selwood etc etc

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
