100% this. Leadership under Roffey and Pert has gone belly up. Both need to go and pronto.

Didn’t Harrison Petty say he wanted to be closer to family in SA this time last year, and then signed not that long ago for a couple more years?

Seemed like they managed to work through that “crisis”

@Adam The God if Koz and Trac both leave, how hyperbolic is it now to suggest this club will fold?

it's still hyperbolic.

The club will still be here...

This is disastrous if true though.

One of my favourite pastimes is deciphering the naughty word blocked by the profanity filter and I reckon I get it right most of the time but this one has been stumped. It could be so many juicy words.

Using high draft picks on interstate kids is just the dumbest of the dumb. The big Melb clubs may be able to do it...but with the weaker clubs like ours, we just can't hold onto these guys. The delusions of grandeur seem to spread all the way from fans through to our list management team.

There's enough talent in Vic to focus high end drafting here. Looking for role players at later picks from interstate is OK as they are less likely to be stars who can call the shots.

Indeed.

Kosi is very loved and very supported at Melbourne.

The end of the report said clearly that both Melbourne and most importantly HIS MANAGEMENT are confident this can be ironed out and that he will be at Melbourne for the remainder of his contract.

We need Goody and Perty to get on the front foot and double down on their last double down about our culture being great before we lose control of the narrative here.

I have no interest in hearing from Pert

Someone’s head needs to roll. Pert needs to leave yesterday.

I listened to Dane Swans podcast (and lost 20 IQ points) and also learned that Swan and the players didn’t like Pert at all. They were joking about how people who don’t like him don’t call him “Perty” and Swan said the playing group had plenty of other names for him.

He is quite fond of Eddie. And said even though he was a nuffie he was passionate and professional.

I’m sure plenty will denigrate Swan as no brain surgeon, but he definitely does not GAF and is very honest.
