Nasher 33,686 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Make no mistake, that was an annihilation. Unbelievably frustrating to watch though. Moving on. 29 2 Quote
Stiff Arm 4,420 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I thought Petty and Sparrow were terrific tonight. So much young talent on our list. 19 Quote

Red But Mostly Blue 4,632 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Let's take the 4 points and move on. Didn't think I'd be saying this based on last year but we'll need to be a little sharper, or at least shoot a little straighter against the Hawks and Saints. Now, I never want to talk about this game ever again. Petty awesome. 3 Quote
Crompton's the man 660 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 We run run run and it makes a great difference unfortunately we won’t go any higher on the ladder 1 5 Quote
dees189227 12,515 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 1-3 still inaccurate. We banked the points & sit on top still. Lets hope we never see them kick this bad again Quote
640MD 3,570 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 And Bowey’s run continues. What a talisman 1 Quote
loges 6,767 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Thats about as ugly a win you wish you'll never have to watch again. 6 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,773 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Painful but we'll be better for the win. I'll accept tonight as an aberration. Quote
Josh 1,420 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 That's what good teams do. Win when they aren't at their best. It's 1 step closer to locking away finals, then we aim for top 4, then top 2. 2 Quote
Stiff Arm 4,420 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Weid stays in the side next week, surely 12 1 Quote
cookieboc 780 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 hate it when we shut up shop in the last. I get it, but gee, would love it if they kept the foot down. 3 Quote
Bang Bang Bang 5,875 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I’m all for banking wins. But that was yuck to watch. Clayton Monster BOG by the length of the Flemington straight. Very happy for Weid again. The carnivore was breathing down his neck after the Casey game today, but Sammy took his opportunities and can’t be dropped now . 1 Quote
Hopeful Demon 1,541 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 As usual, we got the job done. Our innaccuracy front of goal was certainly frustrating to watch but at least we didn't let Richmond take advantage of it. Tonight showed that teams find it difficult to play against us. We're impossible to score against. Oliver was unbelievable. He was the difference between the two sides. Fritsch is such an important part of our forwardline. Even when he's not getting many possessions, he changes the momentum of the game by kicking crucial goals. 6 1 Quote
