Discussion on recent allegations about the use of illicit drugs in football is forbidden
  • IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

Yep, I emailed them yesterday after not hearing anything. Was told 'Sorry, I'll push your order to our warehouse'.

Seems the guernseys are in stock but unless people follow up the order is just sitting there. I was also told the beanies are delayed but due in next week, which was also holding up the order.

Australia Post is entirely unpredictable at the moment.

I bought an item from a Sydney eBay seller a week ago and received the parcel in regional Victoria today.

it’s not aus post it seems

this is really really really poor by the club and really really poorly managed by the shop

i bought stuff sept 26 for delivery for my bday before oct 28th. Still don’t have it.

emailed them a week ago

finally got a response - mfging issues with beanie. Wtf? Where’s the update email?

lmb knitwear in Melbourne can literally make the beanies . In Melbourne!!!

you can pre plan for this type of thing including with mfers and printers (lots on Melbourne! Joe at Print visuals is great!)

American apparel and AS Colour can supply lots of high quality clothes

Super disappointing

I used Regent Gallery (Plenty Rd, Preston) - the bloke there did a great job on my Hingrito print. A2 size, black timer frame, was $100. Had it mounted, as opposed to adhered to the backing (print is on thick card), which maybe is why it was a tad more expensive than what some mates paid to get their Knight posters done. Very good quality, so was happy.

He sells lots of AFL stuff, so will no doubt have frames in stock.

Sounds like totally unprepared for the tsunami of orders ,, quite understandable . There using a 3rd party warehouse so its not likely there a club employee supervising  because of covid . They probably cut staff at the shop . Bringing in stuff from China  or anywhere is highly problematic . As we noted Perty said we sold 2  years of merchandise in 2 days. We may have sold 5 years in a week after the GF . Add aust post issues , delays are not surprising. But frustrating . Hoping my email pushes my order up
I reckon the other mob would have had same issues had they won.

i spoke to coy doing the 2k signed guernseys after I saw earlier post  of a jumper being received. They are processing orders in date / time received . Those who preordered getting first. I then got email saying

We will continue to receive guernseys back from the manufacturer throughout the month, at which point each tranche will enter the final stages of production to be framed, packed and despatched. We remain confident all framed Team Signed Guernseys will be ready for despatch by early December.

when the jumpers were signed it was observed that it was only front side , not full jumper . Thus 2021 jumpers for this item had to be sewn together thus a further delay . Had it been here they would had the full jumper and no covid issues in the production and in the case of regular footy stuff a visit to the demon shop after the sell out of the merchandise  on the sunday morning

anyone get a similar email but a different month ie late november?

Were you a pre grandfinal order?

Yes, I ordered 2 days before the GF. Also a tip for all those fans awaiting or have recieved the signed framed premiership jumper from official memorabilia, check the packaging because I almost  today threw out a massive bonus A2 size premiership poster that was included (luckily my wife checked the packaging before putting in the bin).

You did well , I remember seeing the ad pre grandfinal but being unaccustomed to this memorabilia stuff thought buying beforehand was putting the hex on . Also my wife bought the framed guernsey ( was in no mental condition to buy anything  post gf) only saw order confirmation earlier with attached invoice . Saw there was a free poster   .

ill be pushing my luck to get that poster framed and hung . The guernsey and  foil knight poster will be enough and I need space for the back to back stuff :)

A big 👍 for the Demon Shop who sent out a replacement for my Premiers record that had the torn cover. It was sent yesterday and arrived today… No fighting required, and a painless change. 😎

(My Herald Sun order apparently has shipped because the mug came back into stock. They sent it Express Post but no sign of it so far…)

My merch order turned up today.

I agree that the clothes are horrible quality. As an ex fashion designer, I am thinking they'll be rags after 3 washes.

However the cheese board is really good! I am really happy with it and I'll never eat cheese off anything else again.

You've now received it twice and I haven't received my first one. First world problem I guess.

    DISCO INFERNO by Whispering Jack

Two weeks ago, when the curtain came down on Melbourne’s game against the Brisbane Lions, the team trudged off the MCG looking tired and despondent at the end of a tough run of games played in quick succession. In the days that followed, the fans wanted answers about their team’s lamentable performance that night and foremost among their concerns was whether the loss was a one off result of fatigue or was it due to other factor(s) of far greater consequence.  As it turns out, the answer to

TIGERS PUNT CASEY by KC from Casey

The afternoon atmosphere at the Swinburne Centre was somewhat surreal as the game between Richmond VFL and the Casey Demons unfolded on what was really a normal work day for most Melburnians. The Yarra Park precinct marched to the rhythm of city life, the trains rolled by, pedestrians walked by with their dogs and the traffic on Punt Road and Brunton Avenue swirled past while inside the arena, a football battle ensued. And what a battle it was? The Tigers came in with a record of two wins f

It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.

There’s a touch of irony in the fact that Adem Yze played his first game for Melbourne in Round 13, 1995 against the club he now coaches. For that game, he wore the number 44 guernsey and got six touches in a game the team won by 11 points.  The man whose first name was often misspelled, soon changed to the number 13 and it turned out lucky for him. He became a highly revered Demon with a record of 271 games during which his presence was acknowledged by the fans with the chant of “Oozee” wh
