Highly unlikely at this stage his kicking will get better. Just like other sports once the technique is ingrained it’s hard to change.

True for a lot of players but mostly because they kick well enough and just make marginal improvements. Get someone who's technique is shoddy and you can break them down and start completely from fresh if you've got someone who can teach it and a player willing to work at it. We hired Choco for this exact reason.

Aaron Davey seemed to fix his kicking up pretty well

Tanner Bruhn has the look of the next Giant to leave after serving his mandatory 2 years.

Certainly has speed and seems to Mark well, that  kicking action seems very awkward.

Might look awkward but the crucial factor is his drop and if that's ok then the ball will go straight.

If his drop is too awkward and slow Then he will be caught holding.

From the highlights he Probably didn't kick a  classical drop punt but he seemed totally comfortable In his disposal and like in cricket if it is a trait that succeeds font changes it. Ie if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Alls good I reckon as he played on and that's far better than what Gawny does.

I like the name Fraser. A great name for a cult hero I reckon.

List balance/needs pick rather than best available, imo.

Welcome aboard young fella.

He could be the point of difference we need in our midfield mix, I like it.

Speed and endurance are two things we don’t have near enough of

Left footed wingman with pace height and X factor

Going from this bio he should have been pick 1.

I am calling it now will be a better player then the dogs no 1 pick, no joke.

Welcome aboard Fraser

Based on what limited vision I've seen and what I've read appears a good speculative pick

Interesting kicking action.  Reminds me a bit of Derek Kickett.

Reminded me of Phil Krakeour's kicking style. It looks unorthodox but on close inspection seems to be due to him keeping his arms down so the ball drop isn't far. I'd assume that's sensible for a tall player.

Reminded me of a young Fraser Gehrig...

Welcome aboard Fraser Rosman I have a really good feeling about you and your potential impact on the team, listen to the coaching staff Mark Williams in particular and you could be that critical missing link that we have all been crying out for.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For no real reason I think this is a great pickup

Dont be deceived by the kicking action. He actually drops the ball lower and closer to his foot thereby alleviating and minimising margin for error. He wont fudge many at all! I like what he brings, Pace, Agility, Poise, takes a great contested grab and kicks very well! Stay Tuned, some serious X Factor from what I've seen.

Like all highlights they only show the best of the recuits not the blunders so we need a better sample of the player and you need to see what he does when his team does not have the ball, shepards, blocks, spoils, chases, tackles and knock ons.

I have watch football since 1953 and I am amazed that people still don't value athletes who have height, endurance and speed very well but the this year the No 1 draft pick has some of these and yet pick 34 seem to have the same attributes and we tend to devalue him because he is pick 34.

I will make a prediction this player will become an elite player provided he put his mind and soul into the game, he reminds me of a young Koutoufides.

I was thinking the same thing after watching HL's  Watertown

Thought the same thing. The action looks a bit odd, but it looks reliable for those exact reasons you mentioned.

Agree there the lad certainly has quite a bit going for him but he needs to bring the bits together ( and here Mark Williams expertise  comes in to play)! And of course a pick in last years draft at around 34 has so far performed very well for us, so I’ve got my fingers crossed for this one as well.
