There’s a great doco on TV tonight about the mating ritual of the dung beetle. Two shaftings on at the same time. Decisions, decisions........

I'm predicting a 40 point win.

Has Richmond caught the St kilda bug?

Anyone want to go for a spin in my new Jag after quarter time?

Reasons to go:

1. Drink Beer at ridiculous prices.

2. Have a 1/50,000 chance of winning a car, which will be 1/100,000 as I am not a young female or person that will look good in the promo material, so I actually have no chance.

3. Catch up with mates

4. Cheer an odd moment of Melbourne play here and there

5. Get an Oliver cup.  Never got any of the others, I’m really stretching here...

6.  Practice my Dali Lama calmness tolerating nuffti Richmond bogan d-heads.  Especially on the public transport home.

Not even bothered. I’ve got the kids this weekend so I think we will watch a movie......so much less stressful.

I will probably go just to look at the numbskull Richmond supporters. We wont win.

I'm going to Gold Class tonight to watch Lion King with my lovely half.

More excited to see Simba turn badass again.

At Auskick with my oldest kid, skills here much better than Melbournes atm

Maybe they need to enrol a few of the boys at Auskick to work on their skills?

Would like to say I am going to enjoy the Ashes but with our luck in the umpire review stakes it is just giving me another dose of MFCSS.

I’ll tune in tonight.

Until quarter time should be long enough.

I had a dream we won tonight. Does this mean I am a passionate rusted on supporter or just plain out of touch with reality?

Both obviously

God help us. We are going to need it.

It is so totally understandable that the devastatingly poor on field efforts of MFC in 2019 have devastated the spirit of all MFC fans.

I will go tonight but l really don't know why, as l expect to get bloody annoyed at silly turnovers and even more annoyed at hearing the opposition song at the end of the game.

Clearly l am just another one of those that has supported this club for so long,  Disappointment has been my mood and my middle name.

Toiges by 41, slowing down in Q4, as they have finals to play.

I'll be watching from the comfort of my recliner in the back blocks of Canberra, and searching for evidence of 'tinkering' to our game plan, that Goody mentioned in yesterday's presser.

'tinkering'

I'm going tonight and I have no idea why. I fear what Lynch and Riewoldt will do to us, whichever Oscar is playing on.

However I'm looking forward to seeing Melksham back.

My Brother in Law Richmond member rings me up half and hour ago as asks if I am going? Nup I said. Good he says, I'll come over and watch on your 80 inch 4 k T.V and have a few beers!!

I think I'll leave him alone and watch the cricket down the other end of the house!!?

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

  • NON-MFC: Round 09

Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos. The Lions should easily take care of the struggling Roos who might be powerless against the best in the comp. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?
