This is the first time in the history of the club that we've won by 60+ points three times in a row.

Amazing stuff and further reflection of how much we've dominated in the last three weeks.

Sack the coach then - hahaha

I am too lost for words. We have to keep a lid on it.

That lid's been rusted on for years. It's just had a good dose of WD40 and has loosened up a treat.

Go you good things!

It is the first time Melbourne has won back-to-back games by more than 90 points in the club's history, and the first time since 1993 that the Demons have won two games in the same season by more than 90 points.

Just going to relax and get ready to watch bounce.

Will watch the replay tomorrow after work. Having that to look forward to makes the day easier to get through.

That was fantastic. If we keep playing like this I can’t see anyone beating us.

Hopefully we take this form to the bye and comeback even hungrier.

Guys. Think about this. Injuries permitting, we are on the crest of something special...sorry Bruce...time to put our arms around our collective shoulders and enjoy this. No negativity anymore. Let's believe. It's infectious

The whole day was a stunning event - the early game showed indigenous talent - 7 got on board ! The Pre game was moving and the boys came to play and then stunned us all !  Goody was relaxed enough to be interviewed on his way to the rooms and we all watched in awe - What a day - I think we should keep playing up there !!

And just when it looked like the worm might come back for the first time in 18 quarters... Gus Brayshaw finds another gear.

That was a perfect 10 for mine. Enjoyed every minute of that. I was confident of a win but to witness another belting was just a sight to behold.

I’ve long since stopped giving a rats what the footy world thinks of us, but they’ll be paying attention now I think. How good is footy?

Didn’t @jumbo returns state a few weeks back we were targeting the Crows game? Boy, oh boy,  in my village they call that a shellacking.

The spread as soon we won a stoppage or gained a clearance was first class. The belief is ever growing in this group, incredible to feel like this!

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
