No acres for saints he has been 1 of their best mids

Their midfield is terrible, but hes one of their few good ones.

We should absolutely slaughter them in there.

Pedo on standby if Jesse doesn’t get up.

Weide stays in which means T.Smith is out.

Pedo will never play a game again.

Hopefully Wagner will never play again.

I'd like to see Garlett get a game but I doubt he has done enough to force ANB or Harmes out of the side.

IN: PETRACCA OUT: SALEM

Pedo if Hogan doesn't get up.

Garlett will play if Trac doesn't.

If both Trac and Hogan miss, suspect the ins will be:

Pedo, Garlett, Smith

If Hogan plays but no Trac, Wagner for Salem.

If Trac plays but no Hogan, Pedo for Hogan

Vs the saints I wouldn’t bring in a defender in Wagner, I’d bring in speed and offence.

Wagner is a spud.

I would say T.Smith is ahead of Pedo.

Garlett to come in if Trac doesn't play but I'm sure both Hogan and Trac will play.

I tend to agree.  Their forward line really only has McCartin and Membrey as the tall forwards, and Oscar, Lever, Hibberd and Jetta can rotate through them if need be.  Adding Wagner to the side is a little counter productive, although if it means Brayshaw is released to play more midfield minutes again then I can understand it.

Pity ANB can't do that in a match.

He made the mistake of putting Nev on his backside first go, Nev monstered him the next 5 or 6, probably why they were matched up

Why is Bernie Vince playing. We should call him Bernie the Butcher, he turns the ball over that much.

My views on Goodwin are unaltered.  He is admirably and luckily bluffing his way through.  He is consistent only at inconsistency.  Results this weekend will prove this.    When we lose, its always in the same manner.  Over the top, out the back, Lever and McDonald looking stupid, inept forward entries to outmanned contests, exhausted from attack, and no energy and or structure to defend.  Week in week out.  This suggests he is not learning.  Just occupying, collecting a cheque, satisfying and fulfilling an ego and desire to one day be the coach of an AFL footy side.  Thus, it will be a loss this week and Goodwin, since taking over will have coached us to 16 wins and 16 losses.  In 5 weeks time the Jesse Hogan is returning to WA bandwagon will start rolling.  For make no mistake, if we are not at least two games above .500 in 5 weeks time then it will be obvious to all, pundits, Jackson, Bartlett, the board, that Goodwin is not cut out for it.  So, Goodwin's future head coaching career will be determined  by mid jun.  And so it should be.  He should be very worried.

Looking at that bench , would be surprised if Garlett didn't come into the team.

On form he doesn't really deserve it but hes too dangerous to not be in the side and could easily kick 5.

Interesting and alarming.

2 of those games had less then a kick in them, playing Fremantle in Perth is always hard, and collingwood were close to  useless last year.

Seems to be the best available team for the StKILDA game. Would rather that TMac lined up at CHF and Hogan at FFwd. Bernie won't last long in this game as a follower, either. Maybe a swap of positions with Hunt at HBF. One the bench, to be reduced on Sat, take out Harmes, ANB and Garlett and we might have a strong I/C.

I agree with this.  I read a training report that Fritsch was training with the mids.

I think ANB comes out for Garlett and Fritsch will push up the ground.

Trac in for Salem of course.

Garlett couldn’t possibly come in after 1 week and from reports he was just ok.

If Hogs misses Peds comes in ahead of Smith, Weid (while developing nicely) can’t lead that fwd line when TMac moves up the ground.

As usual need a really good going away from them win.
