I knew the kid had a good year but god damn to win the b&f in his second year.

Well done Clarry

Clarry second year B&F is an awesome achievement, the kid has such an great future ahead of him.

Hibberd not in top 5 boggles the mind.

Having said that deserving accolades to all top 5 places. Nev Jetta’s 5th placing is one of the stories of the year. Great stuff from him.

Will be interesting to see the top 10.

Hibberd missed a few games at the start of the year, but still, so did Jones, Viney and Lewis. I know they are the coaches and and all that, but bloody hell, that is ridiculous.

It's a staggeringly poor decision. Absolutely absurd. Viney the second best player this year? Spare us please. He looked embarrassed to accept it.

A class act. They're the survivors (with JT) since the Bailey years, been through a lot together.

Jordan Lewis finishes equal third. Must say I'm surprised he finished that high. He was decent, but not outstanding.

Do people not understand how important Lewis was to this team?

Hibberd must surely have been pipped for 5th.

But well done Oliver. Scary to think what he could be if he keeps going the way he is.

He was sensational considering he could barely walk for most of the year.

This award is about more than just stats. Viney played his role as did Lewis which is why he won the votes.

Viney must have been given votes for playing when far from 100% fit because he had a lot of poor games when obviously not fit and when you add those to his missed games this is a horrific result.

Yeah nah. Crazy stuff. Hibberd did a lot more than pad his stats.

Are we really debating the craziness of our only All Australian player not making the top five at the expense of Viney and Lewis who missed chunks of the year?

Was thinking the same for Neal-Bullen. Just missed out on the top ten.

Obviously the coaches didn't think Hibbo filled his role as well as they wished. It's hard for us to judge.

But look at the top 5- all guys who set standards and lead by example. Coincidence? I think not!

Hibberd 3 votes behind Jetta, who was 6 votes behind Lewis/Jones I think - very close.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
