I recall reading that our attendees are Jones, Viney, Hibberd and Oliver.

Oliver is predicted to score about 18 to 22 votes.

If so he will be our highest vote scorer for more than a decade...

Amazing achievement for a second year player.  What impressed me was he continued to get votes in the second half of the year when we were losing games.  That is the mark of a really good player (dare I say 'elite') - a high performer in good and bad times.

If Oliver polls in the top 10 - 20 players, it shows how idiotic the selection of the AA squad of 40 really is.

Tom McDonald too.

I hope Nev Jetta polls like mad to shove it up the cretins who continue to ignore him.

Seriously, how does a guy whose name was in AA discussions all year not get an invite to the Brownlow?

I will watch the Brownlow for the first time in 10 years as we had a good season and a few of the losses were real close, so we should get our most votes in a long long time.

Would be awesome to see Clayton get 20+ votes.  We havent had a player do that since Woewodin.

Thanks - forgot about Tom.

I thought the same thing about Jetta.  They invited only 5 players from each team and Tom got a spot by virtue of being in the leadership team.  Or because we have 2 captains they both get invited.

No offence to Tom but I would prefer the AA squad nominees got a gig first.

Oliver paying $5 with TAB to finish top 5 and $3.25 to poll over 18.5 votes.

Both odds tempting.

Agree 100%.

They just had a small piece on Jack Viney and his missus getting ready for the Brownlow.  He blamed Jack Watts for the price of his partners dress and vowed to have words with him about it.

Hunt might poll quite well (12+ votes?) ... he's the type that the umpires may notice.

There again,  I'm not very good at these types of things.

As others have said,  Clarry should receive about 20 votes or so.

Edit:  Ugh

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
