When he’s not #Breakingtrades, he’s knowing who’s going to retire.

With Col Garland retired and everybody else on contract, it looks as if we're set to recruit four more players to fill our main list. Our last pick will be 47 - around the same place where we drafted Mitch Hannan last year so it looks like there's going to be a little more interest on draft night than there was last year.

Game plan is the problem not players. Richmond have many average players but clearly it doesn't matter.

it's a mix of both, tigers actually have a fantastic list with great depth , were missing 3 players from the past week yet covered them fine, on the other hand we only have one player in the vfl putting his hand up selection who is a key forward in their 30s on their last legs, all the tigers players are quick yet the only fast players I can think of are frost garlett and hunt, we really need to draft better ball users and speedy players as the players we have now are not up to it in the modern game- which is built on quick ball movement and intense pressure, it really makes me wonder why we draft such slow players

Maynard and King are developing so they will stay for another year.

Wagner won't be delisted.

I would hold onto Neal-Bullen and Harmes for depth.

Add Frost and I agree with the rest. 8 sounds like a good number for delistings.

Retire: Vince Lewis

Trade: Salem, Tyson

Delist: Bugg, JKH, Stretch,

Bernie Vince. I love the old Vince but he left at the beginning of last season.

King- project player that has not worked out.

McKenna - injury prone.

Kennedy Harris - no hunger to play AFL.

That is about it but we are not playing the right players either. Spargo, Fitsch and Balic will get an extended run now, as will Pedersen.

lol do you really think clubs would trade for Salem and Tyson? they're not stupid

Salem and Tyson are two of our better players and automatic best 22

Unless we get a like for like replacement they’re going nowhere

FMD, think about list make up people

Lewis has a year to go; he’s not going to forego a year’s (very good) salary

Vince May retire or he may play on - he’s automatic best 22 for us, so why not get another year and decent pay out of his body?

McKenna and vandenBerg (and potentially Kent) don’t have the bodies to play afl

Maynard, JKH and DJ sadly don’t look up to it

And then it’s a matter of judicious trading; but if Salem and Tyson were parts of that conversation I’d be mighty surprised

tyson: absolute butcher of the ball, poor 2 way running and refuses to man up, slower than gawn, has no left foot, gets caught holding the ball too often

salem: small, lacks pace, poor 2 way runner and gets beaten by his opponent too often, kicks get smothered frequently, not fit enough to play midfield, can' take a mark

vince: so slow, handballs to the ground, poor defensive skills, butcher's the ball

I would hardly say they're best 22

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
