The Bulldogs had a unique game plan last year. This year they were found out.

Roos resurrected our club but was tactically hopeless. Goodwin has the smarts to pants every other club in the finals.

But not to get us there??

The AFL won't allow Essendon to lose.

Gil already has his "fairytale return of the WADA victims" speech ready....no way they will lose today.

Adelaides season last year was destroyed by a last round loss to the Eagles, do you reckon they will lie down and lose going into the finals again?

Essendon absolutely deserve to be there.... they won when it counted.

Seems they have pride in the jumper. We could learn a lesson from them.

If they win today, when it truly counts, then they deserve it more than we do.

Hell no, and the filth didn't have any good reason to beat us yesterday either. Adelaide won't sit back and allow WCE to win. Call it white line fever, their competive nature will kick in and they will want to end the season on a high.

The same club that lost to Brisbane and has today barely squeezed past a side who lost its past two games by 104?

There were 4 points on offer in Round 23. Same as in the previous 22 Rounds.

Essendon doesn't "deserve" it any more than we do (if we make it) simply because they won in Round 23 and we lost.

If we make it, then we deserve it. If we don't make it, then we don't.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
