In Krakow (first time in Europe) and don't have access to the game.

If you have internet, you have access: https://www.watchafl.com.au

You'll need to take out a match/month subscription.

Can't see us winning this, too many key players out. One lives in hope, and I'm as optimistic as the next optimist, but Adelaide aren't top of the table for nothing.

Good chance to get a game into the younger/fringe players and for those who are a bit rusty (Gawn, Hogan), but more than that, my expectations are low.

Next week on the other hand ...

I think they've gone in to tall and have misread the conditions. We should have more speed and know how to handle the conditions to use our rotations better.

Gawn won't have a game like last week, mark my words he'll bounce back hard this week and be best on ground

Tend to agree on all points.

They only just beat The Blues 1 week prior to us, and had a bit of luck in that win. We got smashed in the middle against Carlton and still got the job done, I don`t think we could play that badly again from centre clearances and Max should have some match fitness now.

I haven't been at all confident through the week but I think we are a big chance, our win over them in Adelaide will give the boys massive belief.

as an aside Virgin and especially Qantas are somewhat to blame for the high cost of flights to Darwin.

The Asian airlines wanted to fly from Asia to Darwin and pick up people for the onward flights to the capital cities down south.

This would have doubled the number of flights to Darwin at least. The NT government and the National Party were fully on favour but Qantas and their lobbyists won out and fares are still  some of the highest in the world when compared to similar routes.

A return flight to London with a 5 Star airline was only a couple of hundred dollars more than a Melbourne-Darwin return flight. Ridiculous!

Make sure you go to the salt mines!

Hoping our experience of playing on this ground in this climate gives us a big advantage. They have a pretty tall team so if it gets slippery it should play into our hands with our pace. Just need to play four quarters and we'll be in the game - GO DEES!

Sandy describes it a "must win game for Melbourne" with no real explanation as to why.

Yet again looks and sounds like our supporters are vastly outnumbered.

The bloke has been senile for 5 years. They must have given him a weekend leave pass from the home.

Our tackling continues to be average. Their rebounding is very concerning.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
