I can't quite find the bit where it says she was spared prison time because she was female. She received a suspended sentence because it had zero impact on the victim. In the case of the woman I knew, the victim, while initially willing, felt shame, depressed and socially isolated according to the judgement notes. There are varying degrees of criminality in all crimes.

Judges use their discretion all the time based on a number of different factors. It's very shallow analysis to say that she wasn't sent to prison, therefore it must be because she's female. Try looking a bit deeper.

I note the WA teacher's career has been appropriately extinguished still (just as the AFL execs have been) and she will still be recorded as a sex offender, which has severe ramifications for future employment. Her future has been completely gutted. Just because she didn't spend time behind bars doesn't mean she wasn't punished.

I've worked in organisations where without exception the CEOs have had their affairs with women inside the organisation. It's common as dog poo, and those who say it does not happen with CEOs and senior management have their heads in beachsand.

Most don't get caught!! That's the difference.

The latest term for male behaviour that deviates from some bizarre feminist dogma is 'toxic masculinity'. It is our fault Biffen. When will you understand this? You, my friend, are responsible for all of the world's ills. Shame on you, white, male patriarchal scumbag. Go Dees.

So you're the one that has been trolling Clementine Ford?

What was it about their wives that drove them to this behaviour?

Shouldnt the women involved have more respect for their wives?

Interesting precedent set at the AFL.

From Caro article in The Age

"At the time Andrew Demetriou was appointed AFL CEO some 15 years ago, his partner and more junior colleague Symone was pregnant with his twins."

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
