If it was Bernie, he'd get 2.

And a fine for something completely innocuous and wholly unrelated to the incident in the same game.

Eg, for swearing to himself after missing a set shot, or farting.

Jack Trengove was suspended for 3 weeks for a tackle on Dangerfield that was a lot less dangerous than Dangerfield on Kreuzer.

Lets see if the head is as 'sacrosanct' in 2017 as it was in 2011. Yeah right.  The liars at AFL house have no shame.

Ummm, have you forgotten that the AFL has an "Integrity  department" ?

Therefore they are beyond reproach.

Integrity and all that.

Another player could do the exact same thing as Dangerfield and get a different punishment. He'll get nothing because the AFL looks after its Brownlow prospects.

The MRP is corrupt, nobody should be surprised at this point.

And of course the betting agencies need to also be looked after...

Lets see who's got any cohunas !!!

Betting Agencies couldn't possibly be blowing Danger's price out already , could they?

Why would Ollie stop getting Brownlow Votes after the WC game?

Is something going on here??

There's no way the AFL and Channel 7 are going to spoil Brownlow Night. Suspending Dangerfield would take the viewing from boring to dull or vice versa (whichever one is worse).

I reckon they have spoiled a few of my nights this year!!

All orchestrated. They'll appeal to tribunal and he'll get off. It's just a transparent attempt at making the MRP look impartial.

Let's see how impartial Gerard whatleys summary of this is tonight on 360 ... I suspect words like low grade and careless ... bring in the legal team people

I hope he gets off.

It would be very helpful for us if the Cats beat the Swans.

Perhaps that's the third category of suspensions from the MRP:

1) If you are a Melbourne player, you get rubbed out.

2) If you hit a Melbourne player, you get off.

3) If you are playing a competitor for Melbourne's position on the ladder, you get rubbed out.

:o

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think he will contest this and get off. This way the MRP can maintain it's "integrity" when he gets off and can still win the Brownlow. A win win for the "integrity" of the MRP, the AFL, & Channel 7.

100% agree! Set up! Add it to my long list of AFL conspiracy theories about the corrupt administrators!

Head hit the ground hard because both arms were pinned.

Pretty hard to defend that i would have thought.

Did Kruzer return to the field?

the Brownlow is boring anyway...

Yep, very similar to the Schofield situation. I've got no doubt that was orchestrated as well to save face.

Geelong will be instructed to appeal, he'll get off, and everyone will forget it ever happened by Thursday.

Just looked like any other tackle that was unlucky to me. If people get rubbed out for those type of incidents then they may as well change the name to netball.
