Was that a question?  Harmes surely is the only answer to the question.

No Sniper Harvey may help too.......though I have always been very wary of posts here making good news of missing opposition players.  They always put out 22, 22 who we have to beat.

The '87 first final springs to mind.   Something like a 15 goal win in the wet by a team playing their first final in about 22 years. ?????

I was there!!!

I/C (from): Christian Salem, Dean Kent, Jake Melksham, Sam Weideman, Alex Neal-Bullen, Josh Wagner, James Harmes

Melksham, ANB, Harmes in, no outs. A no change extended bench if ever I've seen one.

I hope Titus sends a few royalty cheques your way.  It's the least he could do!

It was a pretty obvious joke, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, love your work Titus, I know you're reading (taking notes).

Agreed, no change

How did you come up with that, Steve?  Both are named on the extended interchange bench which doesn't give a whole lot away.  I'd wager that if Hunt is right to go we may go in with no change.

The interchange bench is listed in numerical order. It doesn't mean necessarily that Melksham gets a gig - if that's where you're coming from.

Isn't there a bit of a form line that the first 4 names are usually the ins?

I love Titus. After the win v  st kilda he made a comment along the following lines - "Cop that Saints. No one beats the Demons 15 times in a row."

Not trying very hard to conceal your identity, Titus.. umm, I mean bingers.

Except Norf. Perhaps that will be the punchline on Monday "nobody beats the demons 16 times in a row either"

I was there too ... I suspect Buckenara would have kicked the goal even without the 15 metre penalty. And even if we made the GF we would have been thumped by Carlton anyway ...

That was the preliminary final you're talking about,  not the "first" final that monoccular was referring to.

I know that the announced team line up doesn't mean a lot but showing Tom Mc as the ruckman will give Brad Scott something to mull over or lose sleep over :)

Unpredictability is one of our greatest weapons right now.

Great to see that Hunt is well enough to play (altho he could still be a late out).

Well let us hope the unpredictability extends to winning when we are favorites

I'm tipping no change but if there's going to be one, it might be Melksham for Wagner.

This game, like almost all of the remaining 14 games this year, comes down almost entirely to us. If we play at our best, we will win. Last week showed that our best is good enough to beat any opponent, anywhere. However, if we don't play out our best, North is good enough to beat us.

Would dearly love to have a dominant first quarter, kill some nerves off, get a nice lead going, and get a confident feeling that we've come with the right mindset against our last remaining "bogey team".

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
