bandicoot 1,395 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Might get done for a week.. high contact not intentional low impact
Sir Why You Little 37,526 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 I think he will get fined Saint Nick should get looked at for his treatment of Smith. Put his full weight down on the shoulder, no wonder it popped.
Rod Grinter Riot Squad 5,681 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Jesus how soft are we, Roo getting looked at, hahahaha. Nothing in it with Vince, though the morons will probably give him a week or fine.

MRP will claim it had some force because the st kilda player carried on after the hit.
sue 9,282 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Only seen it once quickly but it didn't look like an elbow as some have said. More like a wrap of arm around the head - not that defends a silly act.
Moonshadow 17,678 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Saint player should get academy award nomination for his rolling around on the ground performance. Or at least a BAFTA.
Whispering_Jack 31,382 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 These things always look worse when replayed in slow mo but I doubt whether the Vince incident is worthy of action by the MRP. I just saw Jack Ziebell give Josh Kennedy a whack to the back of the head but it was also low impact and I doubt there will be any action taken with that one either.

inanunda 364 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 He is in massive TROUBLE. A vicious bicep strike like he gave is at least worth a $4.67 fine and a slow dance with Christine Nixon.
Ted Lasso 19,586 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 would be pretty surprised if this was more than a fine
dl4e 5,851 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 If Vince gets done by the mrp for a week or so then it will be interesting to see what they will do with Casboult from Carlton. His incident was worse than Vinces.
picket fence 18,265 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Will go for 2 but for an early plea will get one. He never seems to learn unfortunately, as he has done this before! Cmon Bernie!!

titan_uranus 25,276 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Making my way through the game now, I've just seen Melksham run into Membrey's head whilst Membrey was bending over for the ball. Could get a look at from the MRP, I think.
Hulett Packard III 166 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 You don't get done for incidental contact.
McQueen 17,867 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Browns clumsy open hand but forceful slap into Watts face halfway thru the 1st should be cited before Vince.
DubDee 26,840 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I saw it as a deliberate hit off the ball. wasnt too much strength to it but I would think he'd get a week as it was a cheap shot pretty poor from Vince who was great on Sat otherwise

ArtificialWisdom 4,047 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Intentional and off the ball which isnt very good, but it also wasn't all that hard. I'd say 1 down to fine with a plea.

Bernie collected him with the soft part of his forearm. It wasn't a swinging motion but a glancing motion. But given the MRPs consistency - 10 weeks at a minimum.

I'd say 1 down to fine with a plea. Therein lies the problem. The MRP hate intentional off the ball incidents. Plus the St Kilda player went down like a sack of spuds which won't help Bernard. He'll either get 3 down to 2 or 2 down to 1.
Leoncelli_36 2,264 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 It was an attempted high tackle and his inner forearm clipped his head with minimal force an the spid fell over and acted as if he was shot. What time are these findings out. ?
