With Brayshaw out of the picture we'll never again get to see that hilarious clip of Garry Lyon being carried off on a stretcher. My god, what a side splitter. And then we'll never see it repeated. And then we'll never see it repeated a few second after that. And then a few seconds after that. And then a few seconds after that. And then 5 minutes later. And then a few seconds after that. And then a few seconds after that. I'm shaking just thinking about it!!!

So you will have two ambulance chasers on the show instead of one...

Havent watched innyears so dont really care, its not like they talk about football on their anyway.

How do you know if you don't watch it?

I always thought Brayshaw was an apt name. He laughed like a donkey at everything. I refuse to listen to MMM because 'hahaha hohoho' isn't calling a game - it's lightweight Rex Hunt... and I couldn't stand him either.

The sooner the media gets rid of [censored] that think their Saturday night out is more important than the game, the better.

Must have been caught reading a book to get turfed out of the team.

I am curious to know what he has done apart from being his usual obnoxious self.

It is curious. He was a rare talent of Orwellian proportions. At times, dare I say, he was Brando like. Those expressions, the sincerity, that laugh....he had it all.

That is even more curious? Orson Welles or Orwellian?

Yay. Wish that would happen. [censored] the [censored]'s ego. Is there a more repulsive person on television?

Heard him somewhere recently (think on radio, talking to Steve Price, so I know, my fault, self-inlicted wound) talking about Barack Obama  - and my god, the bile Newman spewed  - going on about how Obama was destroying America - and yet if you'd asked him for the slightest detail about which aspect of Obama's policy he was referring to, the pig-ignorant, plasticated fool wouldn't have known - it was just unadulterated racism - and then I remember reading last year that he'd renewed his contract with Channel 9 - for a million bucks a year - jesus - and i thought about my father, who had just died - he was a very humble working man who never had two sticks to rub together but who'd  flown in Beaufort bombers against the Japanese in the Second World War and always told us as kids how important it was that we work to establish friendships with our Asian neighbours, and how kind he'd been to my Asian friends in his later years - and i thought the world is a rather upside-down place

Hey, how come this website edits the word [censored]? It does have a legitimate, non-obscene meaning, such as what you do to a balloon with a pin.

It is an embarrassingly appalling program.  Ive never understood Brayshaw's involvement.  Zero hosting talent, zero charisma, zero chemistry, boys club alumni - just a #$%@ing dic%head.  Good riddance Brayshaw.  You [censored].  Thanks for nothing.

Care factor on this is zero as I can't remember the last time I watched that dreadful programme, however, Brayshaw added absolutely nothing to nine's already very ordinary cricket commentary team so I am not surprised.

Interesting to note that the Herald-Sin rated this story as worthy of front page headline and a page 3 story.

FMD!!!

Maybe Brayshaw and Lyon back together again on another show now that they got rid of Hutch, in straight swap. Plus increase the time by half hour with Caro. Bonus being no DH's....

Yes.

Perhaps James is working on a star vehicle to kick off his career globally.

Citizen James?

On the Boorish Front?

Animal Farm Excrement?

Or maybe he can [censored] off back to Perf Radio with any luck.

His schtick comes straight from 1984. Not the book - the year.

Not a good year for the MMM boys club.  My heart bleeds for them.

Hutchy is limited but one of the few that can partially save the anachronism.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
