Yeah like last week

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, but do you really think Wiederman is a better option right now that Cam Pedersen?

12 frees to 1

They have missed so many for us as well.  Even then out of the centre Curnow had a chance to dispose of it, got tackled and it fumbled out... play on.  That last one on Vince was a joke.

Only 3 goals though, if we start kicking straight it's ours.

Neal-Bullen and Michie doing very little to excite me at the moment.

Pretty tough to blame Weideman for that. The kick went way over his head.

Super frustrating game. Got on top in that quarter but just couldn't score. We're still right in it, but fair to say the first half has been disappointing.

It's not often you see a team with only 1 free at half time, looking forward to them evening it up as we storm in a 8 goal last term!

Can we make that an eight goal third quarter, might heart can not take waiting till the last.

This halftime break is a chance for our new leaders to really set a standard for what's acceptable and what's not. Has Roos truly changed our culture?

Have had our chances to get back into this ... poor disposal and kicking at goal.

It's decision making that's the problem.

Our constant handpassing from the half forward line and handpassing to stationery teammates is disgusting.

While we are playing some terrible footy, the umpiring is killing us.

Apart from Jetta who is now injured, every other player is having a [censored] stinker. We can't win like this.

Clearances are what 11-0?

And who the [censored] is on Gibbs???

God this team knows just how to ruin your day don't they?

No chance of winning this. No efforts no desire. Thought they could just show up and win. Joke of a club

Seriously though, shouldn't we be on 33 points? That Tyson point wasn't added.

Maybe I'm going nuts. Was bound to happen.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
