Nice to see some posters grudgingly acknowledging the improvement in Matt Jones and what he brings to the team.

Agree except for Tyson.  Glad to see recognition for the mistakes from o.mcd and t.mcd.

Best 6 were N Jones, Gawn, Frost, Kent, Watts and Tyson.

Viney: Needs to use right side or Get ris of it quicker.

Brayshaw : awareness improvement/shows a lot of class at times

Petracca : Touch of class

Kent : Great run

Gawn : Terrific

Watts : Massive improvement in committment/Great team game

TMac/Jetta: Without hime we would have lost by 10 goals. End of Argument !!!!

Wagner/Omac/Hunt/ANB/Petracca/Brayshaw/Frost/Harmes/Stretch/Hogan  : all first or second year players

Nathan J : Great bounce back from last week

Whole Team : 100 minute effort / well done

Every single week you find a way to pot Tyson. It's tiring.

'Joeboy's' not a Tyson fan, just factor that into the "3 Word Analysis"...

I'm a Tyson fan and a fan of thread, a must read after every game.

Frost - turned the corner

I wasn't sold on him at the start of the year. But there is an x factor about him even I can't deny. Today was a leap forward for him. He is a must start for the rest of the season so we can see what he can develop into.

Hunt - starting to fade ... lucky to be kept in the side. If Salem was fit, Hunt would be omitted.

You have to be joking ....what bloody game were you watching ....i saw it with some pies supporters and they were raving about him ....just so harsh

Jetta - good game  6

t.mcd - good but crucial mistakes were costly 5

wagner - ok. turnovers costly.5

Frost - very good. pace and backed himself.8

o.mcd - not even close to AFL standard. Disposal a worry. Physically gets pushed aside.2

vince - skilled. big heart. got in but a few undisciplined free kicks. 6

M. Jones - good run. One of his better games. 7

Viney - the warrior. needs to learn to kick on his right foot. 6

Hunt - fading. conditions not suited. 4

Stretch - good run again. must use him more and go forward. 6

Kent - good. but I want him to develop so much more and kick 4-5 goals. 6

Watts - another strong game. Most improved award for 2016.  (if any he had kivked the goal in the last quarter) 8

Petracca - yes. so much talent. 6

Garlett - took his opportunities. 5

Hogan - disappointing again.  I expect more. Potential but not engaged.3

Harmes - in and out. 5.

ANB - Needs another week.4

Dawes - marking time. 3

Gawn - another good game. Might sneak a Brownlow vote. Deliberate handball out in 4th was disappointing.

Tyson - loves the conditions. Prolific and won the midfield. 8

N.Jones - best on ground. 9

Brayshaw - pass score 5.

should be pointed out that brashaw only has 58% game time for 20 possessions, so he's certainly finding the ball, but not always capitalising on his disposals. bad conditions and being a little rusty didn't help. need to give him more time and he'll be ok

He'll be ok ?

Brayshaw will be a frigging super duper star.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
