Have connections to the club through my work and the mail we got is he's not too happy with his role and wants a chance to play full-time in the middle. Somewhere like Hawthorn or Carlton preferred destinations.

Wants out. Won't be surprised if a deal is struck during trade week and he's sent to a side that'll let him cement a spot in their midfield

My 3 word player analysis V North Melbourne

What does Tyson have to do for you to give him some credit? granted struggled early on but in recent weeks has started to find his legs again and getting into some space. if the chief concern is still disposal efficiency then you need to have a closer look - 4th in total disposals, 5th in average disposals and while his efficiency is down, Hunt has 40 less touches at 2% better efficiency. he's doing the job Goody and the coaches are asking of him, yes we'd all like a bit more out of him, but he's a massive reason we bat so deep in the midfield. -
Tyson best game of his season so far, same for Viney and Frost.

we'll almost definitely start the season with nothing on the back. i personally don't mind it, suits the class of the jumper

This is definitely a cricket-first development. The cricket club isn't allowed on their home ground during preseason until September due to Lacrosse. this will alleviate that plus give their 3rds and 4's a proper home ground. Currently they play out near the zoo in Parkville.

The only thing the manufacturer has complete artistic control over is training and media apparel, but even then the club has to tick it off. NB have a global look they have shared through all of their Field of Play partners (Liverpool, FC Porto, Celtic), however MFC could have easily said no to this.

They don't support Trump, they support the changing of the current trade agreement which all candidates had as one of their policies. it was completely taken out of context by fear-mongering Americans looking for any excuse to keep this Trump-bashing vehicle kicking for a while longer. sorry for the off topic i just felt it was worth pointing out. -

I've been watching the bloke in the bottom right for the last 7 minutes hoping someone would just high 5 him. -

Surely the Dees just want to get in and out as quick as possible and not get wrapped up in the JOM situation. -

gee that's huge if the case, maybe my views are being seen through rose tinted glasses but Hibberd surely isn't worth AVB. -

i agree, i think the excitement of having our name bandied around as a destination club rather than the other way around has got to me. That and how close i am to Friday knock-offs. -

i keep refreshing twitter hoping to see it get announced. Just getting one up on the Hawks is enough for me - getting a player like Lewis is the cherry. -

I want to be in the room when he and JV have their first chat - could be interesting considering they've spent the last 3 years trying to take each other's heads off. -

Maybe we should offer him a New Balance discount - that got a fair few to sign on last year. -

Was at high school with him in Melbourne before moving to Adelaide. Big solid bloke even at that age, good at everything he touched. Had a good college career as a PG but was a bit too short and didn't have the long range shooting you need now. here's to hoping his skills translate well to the footy field. -
has knocked that one brain fade per game out and is finding the goals with more regularity. Probably our best wet-weather midfielder also, absolute gun.
-
Petracca - makes me hard Hunt had a good game, just because he doesn't break the line every time he gets the ball doesn't mean he's tiring or cooked, just means he's learning.

Matt Jones playing the game of his season

Boys are having a serious dip. Tommy finding his way into the game late, our midfield is beating them to every contest and Hogan looks like he has his man if we can get the footy to him. Positive signs.
-
Unsure if it has been mentioned yet so i apologies if it has, but it seems we don't have a clear-cut kicker after a behind. i saw Hunt, Harmes Bernie and Oscar all take kick ins today and none of them offered much. As much as he had the ability to completely drop off from time to time, When Dunny is in the team we at least know he'll give us something from the kick in.
-
Bit rough on Tom - outside of that brain fade late in the 2nd he carried us when we were being bombarded along with Maxy and Viney
