Kennedy one possession

They've just said he wasn't right in the warm up - didn't we take about 7 emergencies up this week?

Kents worst game? Has to be.

Nah, he's had a few absolute shockers this year.

Carried too many passengers in that half like Kent and Kennedy to name two. Need to seriously crack in this second half.

This zone defence is shittin me. I know we need to learn it, but it really is heart in mouth stuff every time they get the ball.

I almost think it removes accountability and allows half hearted jogging around, unlike playing on a man.

don't think we can play any worse than that and only 21pts down, Jones & Hogan been solid. Really miss Oliver!

Surely Salem and Dunne are better options than any of the current backs, particularly Wagner and Oscar MacDonald.

Very ordinary half of football.

Tyson, Kent, Garlett, Vince, Viney, stretch, Bugg, Kennedy, ANB, Omac, have been super pathetic.

Jones has had a lot of the ball, not doing any damage. Gawn is tapping to them.

cant win a clearance. Not working hard enough. Tackling is non existent when in a one on one. Goal kicking is pathetic, inside fifty kicking is even worse.

So poor.

If we renew our games in the NT we might as well send our ressies, as soon as we land here we go on holidays then lose the week after too.

20 tackles in the first half - its obvious we didnt make enough changes at selection, we are tired.

A miracle we are only 20 down.

Coast to Coasts killing us.

Something very familiar about that sentence....

Lucky to only be 21 behind at half time

I don't think we could have played worse but being down by less than 4 goals gives me hope.  Lots of players down do far, If our midfield can get on top we can win!

I know it's been asked before but why is Oscar playing ahead of Dunn? It's crazy. How stoked would you be if you saw Zac Dawson's skinnier brother lining up on you?

If i remember correctly our NAB cup game againt Port was quite similar to this, they dominated us in the first half and we came back hard in the second half and won?

Posted

Port have done very well to keep our small forwards quiet. Dixon has almost had more goals than Kennedy, Garlett and Kent have had possession in the first half.

We won the first quarter then totally went to water....they deserve a huge rocket at half time.

I see virtually zero redeeming features in him. Tallish.. maybe? Thats bout it. Slow, clumsy, weak in the air and cant kick.

We defend terribly.

MacDonald brothers may be good athletes but lack footy smarts.

Good athletes !!!??Oscar Mc Donald is slower than my mother, she's 92 and has a walker!!

T Mac thinks he is Arnold Swazeneger, He is his little toenail!! Only

Oh and yes they also lack footy smarts!

It seems if we lose possession in our forward line its and easy transition goal to them.

I can't believe we haven't fixed this up yet this year,as we did nothing to change things against the saints and bombers.

There is something terribly wrong with our game plan when we are in transition,

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
