I'm not sure if it's already been done but I want to publicly thank the MFC and our sponsor New Balance for the fantastically good offer to members of being able to purchase online clothing and footwear at an exceptional 70% discount.

I've made the most of it this year and easily saved the cost of my membership.  I ordered last week and received the order this week but unfortunately there was an error in the delivery.  A quick phone call and all was sorted without fuss and the rest of my order is on it's way.

Thanks to Theresa at NB and the MFC.  I trust it's a win win win situation.

Cheers

I sorted the missus' Mothers Day gift out with some pretty cool gear and grabbed another Guernsey for myself.

It was a great deal. Me and the wife are both rocking around in brand new New Balance joggers (not matching).

New Balance are the only brand that make running shoes that fit my stupid square feet, so they're my preferred brand anyway.  The partnership with the MFC and the awesome discount just seals the deal.

Fantastic discount. My wife who is a fitness fanatic has kitted herself out with a new exercise wardrobe with this deal. Many thanks to New Balance and MFC.

Sorry, what am I missing here.

I've gone on the MFC website and the members prices for joggers are only at a 10% discount...

Can someone point me in the right direction?

EDIT: Sorry, should check my personal email more regularly. Got it now... VALUE!!

Have been checking in daily to see if they're stocking shoes for my over-sized joke of feet.

They give members very good deals every year.

And now we move from a recognition thread that thanks our sponsor for their wonderful generosity to a juvenile exchange between the usual protagonists.

FMD Demonland, why do you allow these guys to ruin so many threads!  Drives me mad and turns so many off an otherwise great opportunity to support our club.

Sorry BB, didn't mean to derail you're very serious thread about discount shoes.

Yep great deal. Got myself and my son a pair of joggers each. Now my boy is exactly small and there aren't to many manufactures that make size 14, but happy to say that new Balance does. Thanks MFC.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
