The article is fire walled.

Can you summarize  it?  In particular is the clinic named, and / or any of its medical principals (note I avoid the word principles).  Worth a line to AHPRA in my opinion.

From the HUN article today quoting Tim Watson:

How can they say that with confidence if they don't know what was injected?   They must at least know what class of substance it was to be able to say that.

"Timmy, we have good news. We've worked out what we gave the players. It was only vitamins and a few harmless weight loss injections!"

"Oh, what a relief! I must admit, I was worried that the old black and red might have been letting the players down."

"Ha ha ha! Of course not Timmy. We have the payers best interests as our foremost concern! There may have been some other harmless medicines and equine feed supplements but nothing major and we're not certain anyway but they wouldn't have been anything really bad. And they were in tiny doses and they probably weren't administered anyway. And they wouldn't be harmful. There's nothing on the internet about them being harmful. In fact, there's nothing on the internet about them at all."

"Oh, great. I'll just go to a few independent medical advisors and ask them about the vitamins though, if you don't mind."

"You go for it Timmy. Because we love to help, here's a list of independent medical advisors that we happen to have. Run it past them. And don't forget to tell the papers."

If you search in Google news for "Stephen Dank Clinic" you will be able to read it at top of search page. Has a doctor there providing prescriptions for his bunnies. Is some woman doctor from Uruguay.

Oh FFS, the good of the game. What a load of chit. The good of the game is for all clubs to have an even playing field.

I think sums it up, from the article

"Repeated calls to Dank and Dr Meneghetti were not returned but the medical receptionist at the clinic made it clear she would not pass on messages.

“Don’t call back here,” she said. “Get lost, get stuffed. You are full of [censored]. I have a patient here and you are just full of [censored].”

Is there some discrepancy between who handed over the additional information to Hunter, Essendon or the AFL ?

So who is actually holding this stuff? Are the AFL aware perhaps, of covert investigations into themselves as well as Essendon?

Would not surprise.

Dyson Heppell is in a dream world.

Just watched it too Jack. FMD, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The poor dumb [censored] still believes they were hard done by - an injustice. And what about the claim that they were given written assurances that everthing was legal and above board etc !!!!

Apparently Dyson couldn't believe that one of the papers ran with the fact that the players hadn't disclosed on match day the supplements they'd taken... but the paper was only reporting the evidence that was offered by  ASADA/WADA - presumably passed on by the AFL and presumably which the players and Essendon could have refuted with their own documentation.

360 has lost all credibility by making Heppell a regular. Dumb as dishwater and wet behind the ears.

Get the sense from hearing him talk though he's not dumb enough to stay with the club, reading between the lines he feels betrayed.

Please don't...I refuse to watch the show now that Heppel is on.

I would encourage everyone else to do the same...

Yet you watched it before with Robbo???? The only reason ever to watch it is the occasional insight by GW & Roos who isn't on this year.  Judging by the segment where they were driving around with the players in the car I won't be watching it much this year either - the lunatics are running the assylum.

4 corners on the ABC just now - essential viewing to understand the real side of the players and their club.  Hal Hunter presents as a very hard done by individual and the club present exactly as you would expect.  What a pack of flogs!

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak

    MELBOURNE BUSINESS by The Oracle

In days of old, this week’s Thursday night AFL match up between the Demons and the Blues would be framed on the basis of the need to redress the fact that Carlton “stole” last year’s semi final away from Melbourne and with it, their hopes for the premiership.  A hot gospelling coach might point out to his charges that they were the better team on the night in all facets and that poor kicking for goal and a couple of lapses at the death cost them what was rightfully theirs. Moreover, now was
