Have you considered that Hibberd might just be a good bloke and that he's been fitted up on absolutely no evidence by a foreign court that doesn't understand AFL?

Those boys have done nothing wrong and look at how much they've suffered already and it will be a celebration of something or other when they return to the game.

Welcome to the future.

OD, I'm trying to work out whether "reverse" means your doctor said uncontrollable laughing is good for your health or whether your health is not good for uncontrollable laughing. If it's the latter, I think you'll need to explain a bit more.

Don't forget the priority draft pick to go with Pick one and the "No Soo Ars"  fifty million dollar donation from the AFL.

This morning brings the news that the head of that European IOC has been arrested in Rio for being involved in a ticket selling scam.

Hardly a surprise I guess but I think it is time this organisation was disbanded it is now reached the stage of high farce.

Maybe they could merge with FIFA?

Mafia mobs and bikie gangs don't merge. They work out lines of demarcation.

The only thing the IOC and FIFA have to offer each other are tips on various scams the other might not have thought of yet.

Sadly I have lost interest in the Olympics. The drugs, corruption and politics of the event have led me to switch off. (I did watch some of the swimming.)

I hope that the evils that exist at Olympic level sport do not expand in the AFL beyond the EFC or I may be lost to the AFL as well.

Thankfully there is netball, perhaps one of few untainted sports.

Robbo blatantly intimated on 360 tonight that Essendon tanked the Lions match to ensure pick 1 was theirs.

All those number one picks helped Carlton. Go for it Essendon!

I used to be an avid watcher, and recorder of Olympics and of Le Tour.........but have totally lost interest due to drugs and corruption.  Maybe I am just an old curmudgeon.   But if AFL continue to fiddle with our rules, and turn a blind eye to drugs, then I will lose interest there too.

Then again wonder what Bolt is doing after the Olympics? We could put him on the Rookie list, he could just run the ball out of the backline all day!

Does anyone know if there's any drug testing of these banned players during the ban?

Considering Essendrug has now managed to turn their cheating program into a number one draft pick (and potentially priority pick), as well as an 'enhanced' salary cap, is there anything to stop the players juicing up to the eyeballs whilst training during the suspension, and then work back from the end of the ban to determine when they need to stop injections so it flows out of their system and can't be detected post-ban? The only issue would be ensuring no tests were done close to the end of the ban, by, I don't know, disappearing on a Euorpean tour, or something.

Is there ongoing testing of temporarily banned drug cheats?

Thank goodness we've improved our trading and recruiting. Just a few years ago we'd have been more likely to end up with Andrew instead of Usain

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
