I wanted Toumpas to have at least a month, but he can't play next week.

Bail and M.Jones should be forgotten.

Stretch to go back to Casey, not ready.

Howe dropped or at best made the sub.

Jones (M) was okay. Would rather drop Tyson.

It's a tough one because the following players all need to be dropped/given a spell. I've also included Salem (injured).

Salem (inj)

Toumpas (forget the draft number guys, he's not up to it)

Stretch (not up to it yet)

Dawes (poor form)

Bail (not up to it)

M. Jones (not up to it)

Brayshaw (needs a rest)

Spencer (not up to it)

That's 8 players. You can't make 8 changes. And we don't have 8 genuine options to come back anyway.

Worrying signs.

Dawes should be the first one dropped

Gave the Hawks ammo during the week with his stupid comments and then serves up this [censored]

Hes a dud anyway, always has been

Pedo is twice the player

Dawes has got to go. Pedersen is miles ahead of him.

Yeah. Confidence==0. I really believed 3-figure crushings were behind us. 2015 looking very very shaky. Edited by wretched.sylph

I agree except Brayshaw, he's probably in our top 5 for effort.

Also add Howe - doesn't give a fuxk

Would anyone be against putting Dawes up for trade come years end?

It's a joke that a kid who has only played 6 games is already so much more of a better player than he is. Whilst Pedersen is a late call up and has done more in a single game than Dawes has all year.

Sadly our lack of depth (and injuries to many of our best 22 - no excuse for the depths of insipidness today) will prevent as many changes as their should be. Edited by monoccular

EDIT: Forgot about Salem injury.

Actually agree with all of these. Axe needs to be swung.

Howe has checked out. He can go.

Wanted Toump to get a run at it but he's not even remotely close to competing at this level.

So like Frawley last year, doesn't even show the self pride to disguise it. Edited by monoccular

Not really - the problem is, who would take him?

Neeld signed some magnificent contracts.

Dawes and Clark were just awesome.

We all thought it was the coup of the trade fortnight.

See even us geniuses can be wrong sometimes.

We haven't genuinely improved for 9 years, does it really make any difference what players we swap week to week now?

Howe must have an offer on the table for next season because he isn't playing like a player showcasing their talents for a new contract. He needs to find form or pull on a scorps jumper.

Jetta has been sorely missed, and Salem getting hurt is a huge blow. There just isn't enough talent burning up the vfl for spots to allow the axe to be swung like it should be.

Howe's total stats for the past 2 weeks

8 kicks

3 marks

2 tackles

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
